Alan Leggate got a reaction from Voguerista in Open Your Heart/Nobody's Perfect DWT Performance
What shocked me and in a good way was that they kept in the parts where he pushed her head and her voice showed and when she then missed the cue to sing after it but still did. That would never happen now.
I loved this performance and it's varied, some shows I think like Las Vegas/Miami possibly when she sings without the autotune "cool I'm not when I am lonely" has a lovely echo on it put onto it.

I'd rather watch RAW footage any day to this over produced stuff that get officially released!

"cheap"
Judging by what leaked in January 2010, you can say the Lisbon show has bad audio mixing, poor directing, boring shots here and there BUT saying the show was 'cheap'... dude, Madonna and 'cheap' could never be in the same sentence

Alan Leggate reacted to diesel6888 in Madonna is at the Black Lives Matter protest in London
Its is now actually in the UK when you cant socially distance. The attitude of those not caring is totally selfish. Having seen first hand what this virus does I urge everyone to protect others... just saying!

Re-invention Tour Toronto -
M spoke before Crazy For You, I think it may be on YouTube... sniffing and going “aaaaahh good ol Canadian Air” - meaning it’s smelled like pot LOL. I know the girls behind me smoked up a few times during the opening and throughout the show. She also said she didn’t want to leave, that we should stage a protest “We could stay here all night and I could do ALL of my songs!” “And they can TRY to arrest me again!” I think that was her last show in Toronto
She also fell pretty bad in the catwalk during Music. All I remember hearing were gasps.
Such a memory.

Alan Leggate reacted to MADAME SEX in Madame X Tour DVD
strong connection indeed! iconic trio, I wish they never left ... donna left after the re invention, Nicki after the DWT ... I love these girls and I miss them so much...
Metropolis inspired opening act is pure art!
They were a family, I miss the fellini-sh unconventional family that was portrayed in Truth or Dare...
The band was really good , but I think the best live instrument she ever ever had were the girlie show's !

You're right about confessions's disco part... it takes a twist on the funky side lol
Girlie show was really cool, DWT was so on point with the new millenium tendence both shot "the old way" because of the tv broadcast ( GS Down under, DWT Detroit ) and slightly re edited for the dvd edition...( I may be wrong )
Never heard about that dvd multi angle feature you talk about... sounds cool

Alan Leggate reacted to ludowillo in Madame X Tour DVD
KISS: Rock The Nation Live! actually had that feature where you could choose which member of the band you wanted the focus to be on. I don’t know of any others though...

Alan Leggate got a reaction from Jitterbug in Madame X Tour DVD
It gives me a headache too. They butchered Living for Love, I hate that slow motion then suddenly she's on the stage.
Probably for me Girlie Show, DWT, RIT (Lisbon) are my fav professional recordings. Confessions is ok but I feel after Paradise it becomes too much like a pop video at times for me and has to many frantic cuts.
Remember when DVD's were first coming out there was all this talk about how viewers would be able to alter or change the angle of whatever they watched. Did that ever happen? Not with Madge, but in general.

RHT gave me headache no joke ( I watched it entirely only once)... Deeper and deeper ... holy mother of god ... LOL

Alan Leggate reacted to DWMG in Guy Oseary no longer running Maverick to focus on Madonna and U2
I don't think he's a good manager but i also don't think he is the one to blame for Madonna latest failures. She's the only one the blame there. She's the one that writes that music, that produces it, gives it green light and then tours with it.
If she keeps doing music that doesn't please anyone outside her small hardcore fan base or does bad promotion (bad interviews or bad performances)... what can he do? Unless you tell me he has the last word during the creative process...

Alan Leggate got a reaction from AaronsAmazing in Hung Up (Live at Coachella 2006): OFFICIAL PRO-SHOT PREMIERE!
I believe she probably did most of the time because of the dancing/singing, but that upload made it looked like she mimed the majority of it which I doubted she would have done, but whoever in her team edits these videos just ugh I don't know.

Alan Leggate reacted to scion in Madonna on Instagram / Facebook / Twitter + other Social Media
While the haters can be cruel, she really did deserve the criticism for this disaster... and to commemorate it a year on. It's like celebrating a failed exam.

Alan Leggate got a reaction from Voguerista in Madonna Tours rumors/outtakes/plans etc.
Was it only the first RIT show in LA where there was someone during the end of Holiday yelling something and Madonna replies "hell yeah"? Then for a few shows nothing was said until the "everybody on the left..." part started?

Alan Leggate reacted to wtg1987 in The Talk - Sharon Osbourne: Madonna Is 'a victim of her own ageism'
I didnt see her post as "slagging " Madonna off - she said she was a great artist etc. Why is no-one allowed to have an opinion on the biggest selling female artist of all time - when you are celebrity you have to take the rough with the smooth thats why i would never want to be famous - i dont have a thick enough skin for it. I doubt Madonna would care much about this post but is she still going to be showing off her body at 90 ? Maybe - its her life at the end of the day. Although i do wish she would check her IG posts before sending them out - the more you post the more you will be criticised unfortunately.
Whilst we are talking about ageism and i know im going to get criticised for saying this but isnt Madonna a little ageist ? She only dates younger guys for a start ? why hasnt she had a relationship with someone born at least the same decade as her ?
feel free to rape my opinion - i dont care

Alan Leggate reacted to MattyMads in The Talk - Sharon Osbourne: Madonna Is 'a victim of her own ageism'
Personally I don't think Sharon's being horrible towards Madonna in some aspects I agree with her.
I've always wanted Madonna to address the 'grandma' 'age' issues in work, I'm not saying she dress her age because that's ridiculous she looks amazing but I think she could turn the tables on the media without being accused of being desperate or trying to stay young
I would love her to dress up as an old lady in a video or even on tour and turn a performance into a fuck you attitude god think of the attention Justify My love or even Erotica would get if she did this?? It's like she is taking control of this media attention and she's not ashamed of her age but deep down we know she's has issues with it and she can't be ironic with it because it's the constant need to look young and that's why I think she get's more stick than any other artist.

Alan Leggate got a reaction from addictedsober in Hung Up (Live at Coachella 2006): OFFICIAL PRO-SHOT PREMIERE!
It did give me chills watching it and remembering how great that era was and her look but yeah it didn't really sound live because I believe most of the time she has performed it live and it's never sounded like the album track no matter how much a genius Stuart Price is at vocal mixes.
However, I'm glad she is hopefully catching on to what other artists have been doing in streaming/releasing rare content on Youtube. It's only taken her or her team a few months to catch up and maybe realise this is a better output than "quarantine diaries"......

Alan Leggate reacted to RUADJAI in Hung Up (Live at Coachella 2006): OFFICIAL PRO-SHOT PREMIERE!
I love that Stuart seemed to be mixing the sounds live during the second verse. Bring the tick tick and the beat in and out for a live DJ feel. She also looks so happy when she's crawling on the floor, I assume seeing all the cameras pointing at her.
Hopefully tomorrow we get "Get Together"
