M has been consistently amassing negative PR/public sentiment for over a decade now, and that stuff does matter.

I used to be able to relate to or understand what Madonna was doing in her work but everything she is doing now is going right over my head. 
It is frustrating when one has turned to an artist to help them feel empowered in the face of injustice and unfairness...to make sense of things that are confusing. 
I feel abandoned. I wake up everyday wondering if she has come back but all I see are endless displays of things I do not understand. 
I feel like Madonna has succumbed to pressure.

I find it really hard to appreciate or pay much attention to heavily Facetuned photos of her.

No, but that's kind of a different thing.  Like you noted, those were given to the people who were a part of the book.  I may have felt differently if she had decided to make ultra limited copies of it to sell for thousands of dollars to an elite few.  
But again, I'm not even 100% sure myself why it doesn't sit right with me.  It's probably a combo of jealousy and frustration at working two jobs but still barely scraping by sometimes while someone like Kim Kardashian will end up with a copy and just throw it on the toilet tank in the bathroom of her guest house .

I'd 100% be happy with a Madonna "ERAS" approach for her 80's stuff and in a lesser way though the 90's

Those eras sort of feel housed together for me living through them. 
 
Looking at the eras through the lens of the live element and the tours that supported them might go some way in repairing and promoting the good will for a future tour too.

I absolutely love and worship Peter Burns, and he was a massive Madonna supporter so this is fine by me. 

Even if i'm 100% against real fur i must admit those are some of the best pics she had made in years. As @gafuller said above, the styling with the auburn hair is absoluty amazing, the colors are a match ! Now this looks classy, hot and elegant. 

I think this would be a hella cute 12" vinyl release to celebrate the Erotica era

M is having a late-life crisis on a creamy-smooth-pop-icon-goddess scale and none of us could possibly relate.
It's so evident though. She is fuh-reaking out.

Its a rough time being a fan of the royal trinity right now. Either the 500th Thriller Anniversary, some mediocre vault album that should never have been released or videos labelled as remastered that look like shit. Pure greed rules the MJ and Prince estates unlike at Madonna's camp where its just a matter of incompetence.
