Ditto!! I just love the attention LAP is getting again and how well it’s doing. Good job to Madonna and her team! 

It's all a plus to me.  I'm just so excited to see that the song keeps gaining more streams and momentum.  The latest playlist EP is genius and a great way to keep the momentum going.  Just maybe.. just maybe, we can see this song re-chart in the top 40.  The song is really making an impact on digital and streaming. Wishful thinking, but her team is definitely on top of this.

So the Madonna's USELESS team "INTENTIONALLY" didn't turn the Like a prayer music video into a 1080p quality.
And Madonna's USELESS team "INTENTIONALLY" refuse to put merge different versions of Like a prayer, so it causing Deadpool fans to give up and refuse to listen to the songs when they couldn't find the movie version.
If their "INTENTIONAL" intentions were so successful, why did they rush to release a movie version of the EP until two weeks later?

Because That  Make people search for it in her catalog, according to that nonsence stupid idiotic useless theory. But in reality, no one did it and eventually Madonna's USELESS team rushed to release the Movie version EP after two weeks.

If Madonna's USELESS team did this SABOTAGE INTETIONALLY, it would prove their incompetence, and they should all be fired immediately. Period.
 

Totally disagree! Her team are fucking useless and don't have a clue. As someone else on here said, this was rush released. This should have been released two weeks ago, with the versions merged and reset on Spotify, but at least they have finally done something 🤦

Erroneous! I use Spotify every day, just like a lot of people. Just because you're still stuck to your gramaophone, doesn't mean we all are. This isn't the correct thread to talk about unheard demos.

Right, everyone. Let's not argue about conjecture. Like A Prayer EP is out, let's buy and stream the bloody thing constantly all week.

I don't believe it's past it's "peak".  Also,  I don't think it's as diabolical as some are trying to make it out to be.   What's obvious to me is that, she and her team made sure the song was singled out, and are making people actually stream and search out her own catalog for the song, rather plopping it on the actual soundtrack.  And now releasing an EP just of the two soundtrack score versions along with the album version.  It's actually a clever strategy as I'm sure she probably gets paid more if people are streaming/listening from the parent albums that the song is part of (whatever version it is) as well as this new EP.
Not that I'm shocked by your response.   Anyway, we're all just speculating.  No one really knows the reasoning behind what's happened here.  It's not as serious as some are trying to make it out to be.  Nothing is going to be lost here, because the film is still HUGE and the buzz around the song is still just as huge.  I don't believe for a second they have dropped the ball on tis one because it's still working in their favor and the song is getting great exposure.  What's unrealistic here is thinking this song is going to re-enter the charts and score a top ten again.  That ain't happening.  I say, let's just enjoy the ride.. the exposure it's getting again.  It's really not anything to sneeze at for a 35 year old song.  It's hardly an obscure song people don't know.

That seems counter intuitive considering there are 2 versions of LAP that were used. As a result the stream counts are broken/split (and will further break more with the new Ep) instead of concentrating the count into their respective singles thus making it into the charts. That's what nsync did and they got back into the top global streams.
While i do wish the best for this Ep to get high stream counts, that peak period to get the most out from engaged movie audience is gone. It will possibly have a resurgence when the movie becomes available on disney plus, but it's going continue to trail behind bye bye bye. Disney probably did not anticipate bye x3 to sky rocket more considering through all the junkets and interview it was Madonna LAP that they frequently promoted.

Each country has their own chart rules. Where are you based?
But in general in the US, UK, etc. I think all versions, remixes also, count towards the main song I think?

But wait, track 1 is the album version, yeah? UGH. Ever since they put that on the D&W playlist it’s been siphoning streams from the Celebration version, which had been getting the highest streams. Since they’re not merged and they’re all getting mediocre stream totals it’s sabotaging her from making headway on any spotify chart or major hits/viral playlist.
They should pivot the focus back to the celebration track if they won’t manually merge but of course they can never get it quite right lol. 😭🤬
