The whole album was available officially on every digital platform for years until it was removed around 2016-2017, no one knows why.
Since it was M's first live album and rare for her at the time, maybe its release was some kind of one-off deal with Warner with that and the rights expired or something. But they had together after that the "Confessions" and "Sticky" live albums too, and those are still available, so I don't know.

@wtg1987While I give you a hard time about your complaints, know it's not personal.  I know you still have a place in your heart for her.  You've shared enough of your appreciation at this forum to prove that and you don't take it too personal when some challenge you. Peace and love to you.

We have to keep in mind, with the tour originally starting in July, the store would have been updated by now with a lot of nostalgic merchandise related to the tour.  Chances are there was always the intention to hold off in any re-issue, or possibly it was intended to go along with the tour merchandise as well. 
I'm still hopeful and of course, speculating. Anything is possible, but I guess we won't really know now, until the tour starts.

Yeah, the look on the darker cat, is very representative of how fans feel right now.  It's like "Really? This is how you are celebrating your first ever landmark album?" 
The objective side of me, still feels like there is more coming, but they are just going to spoon feed us things.  I do eventually believe an expanded Deluxe will happen for the first album, but when... who the fuck knows? LOL!

True to this, possibly it can happen during the tour. Maybe now, it's not yet obvious mostly that M is currently on a recovery and gaining her strength.💖

Unfortunately, the problem is "we are expecting".  And while I understand the frustration, but playing devil's advocate here, nothing was promised on the anniversary of her first album.  But yeah, is this it?
My guess, there is more coming, but they are going to drag it out, which could be good too, because it may create a bit more hype for the upcoming tour.  And that's another thing, maybe there was more planned, but the postponement of the tour, made them to rethink how to handle the next few months before the tour.  I wouldn't be surprised if more things are on the way. 

Agree. Although Lucky Star was a great move for the 40th Anniversary but us were like "is that all?" 😂
I don't know what's going on with the management. We're really hoping for these expanded editions like what A-ha did on their Hunting High and Low album will also happen to M's debut but also a part of us no longer expecting it will happen because no one from her team ever announce for that lately. Still hoping it will come but please don't make us wait for a longest time. 🥺

That also suits too (because us fans are expecting that there will be no reissue announcement or whatever special that will be made except the tour). 😆

@PrayerSo I must be thinking of when I've seen the actual image a zillion times without the bar throughout the internet. For instance when you google Madonna's debut album cover, there are images where the bar is cropped out. 

@PrayerI agree with it being part of the original design.  I just thought there were copies without, but maybe I'm mistaking? I looked at my CD and it has the black bar as well.  And yeah, I don't believe someone "forgot to crop it out" either. As you said, it's on the inner sleeve as well.

Yes most versions I've seen have the bar.  I'm asking if there are without the bar as I've thought I"ve seen copies without as well. You've pretty much answered my question with the Discog link! 

It's not a "stupid black bar", it was always part of the design, inner too.

@stickersweeter Thanks for your wonderful response.  This was part of the shoot for a Rolling Stone special edition called Musicians on Musicians in 2021, where Maluma and Madonna both interviews each other.  There were even a a couple of promotional videos to it as well.  She uploaded one of them which includes a remixed version of "Bitch, I'm Loca".  Another had snippets of them interviewing each other in a bar.

@proxyIt is a great album. I prefer it over LAV album.  Still love LAV though, but it's just one great dance song after another.   And I like the idea that we encourage people to buying it to get it #1 at least on the pop digital charts.  The problem is, some are so against those tactics, but I don't see why we can't show our support for her first album turning 40.
