1. Rain

 

That's my absolute favorite that never changes!

 

The rest usually change positions from time to time, depending on how I feel and what I'm going through. Right now I'll go with 'Dress You Up', another song I have always loved, and 'Messiah', that has been haunting me ever since I heard it.

 

The other ones are: 'Express Yourself' (video version), 'Sorry', 'Paradise (Not for Me)', 'Skin', 'Voices', 'Bedtime Story', and 'Open Your Heart'

I think in general the "Holy Trinity" would go to these three songs:  "Vogue", "Holiday" and "Like A Prayer", where "Like A Prayer" probably being the most universal among fans and non-fans.  Personally, narrowing it down to just three is just too damn hard because songs like "Into The Groove", "Like A Virgin", and  "Ray of Light" are just three more career defining and iconic songs from her.   And in way, I personally would like to think "Crazy For You" and "Live To Tell" are among the "Holy Trinity" because they introduced the world to what a great balladeer Madonna is as well.

Can't do it because like I mentioned "it's just too damn hard" to decide.   She's released so many iconic songs.
