I will be in NYC and LA over the next few days. Does anyone know of any cool filming locations for iconic music videos? I'm thinking of LAP or LIB

Last year I went to Central Bus Station for the iconic Desperately Seeking Susan toilet scene but everything has changed. Different dryers unfortunately...

Here in L.A. “Borderline” “Open Your Heart” & “La Isla Bonita” & “Like A Prayer” were filmed 

 

Borderline

• 4th Street Bridge, 457 South Santa Fe Avenue (Madonna dancing with homies)

• 6th Street & Alameda (Pool hall, Salvadorian food place)

• Molino Street Lofts (photographer boyfriend studio)

 

Open Your Heart

• Most were shot in Echo Park near Downtown L.A.

• Toluca & Court Streets (peep show theater on an empty lot)

• N Edgeware Road (Madonna & little boy run off in the sunrise)

 

La Isla Bonita

• 1312 & 1318 Maryland Street, Los Angeles, CA (apartment & street locations)

 

Like A Prayer

• 205 N Culver Ave near Compton area (actual church location including the door, & murder scene)

• Hills next to church apparently was where the burning crosses were located

I would love to know Papa don't preach. Bad Girl and Like a prayer locations. For me, they're masterpieces.
