Express Yourself video version (question)

Guys, what is the official remix version of Express Yourself video? I've already read a lot of things about it, some of them say is a Shep Pettibone Club Remix (which I've never found) and others even claim it is a new mix made from Local Mix and 7'' Remix. What is the truth at last?

The Audio of Express Yourself from "celebration" DVD is a mix you cannot find anywhere else. It has an echo on "you believe in love" which is not on the local mix.

 

The audio from "Immaculate" DVD is a mix of multiple versions available elswhere if I'm not mistaking.

So I guess the song in Celebration album is (almost) the same from the video in Celebration DVD; at last I did not find significant differences between them.

 

We could say, then, that this version is the one Shep Pettibone made exclusively for the video?

As you say, it's almost the same. I think they used some part of the local mix and some of the promo CD remix.

I consider it almost as a "fan-made".

 

Whereas the DVD version is really something that you can find ONLY on that DVD.

Isn't the version on Celebration (CD) an edited video mix?

I think that the "Celebration" album version of this song is a hybrid of the "Local Mix" (intro) + the "Non Stop Express Mix" (edited), while the video version is a mix that has been made especially for the videoclip. As far as I remember this version of the video has been played by MTV Europe since it's release.

I would say the same. Besides the echo on "Do you believe in love" verse that Angelman60 remarked (it is present in the Celebration DVD, but not in the Celebration album), the instrumental in the middle of the song (sorry, I'm not familiarized with the names of song structures) is edited, in comparison to the video. These were the only differences I could notice between them.
