Yeah I’m really perplexed by this. Is this just based on digital sales or streaming?

The Angel/ITG 12” is still eligible for a platinum upgrade from when the sales requirements changed that, like Like A Virgin & Crazy For You, never happened. They couldn’t combine that w/this?

Also idk why they keep doing these paltry little certifications. Like A Prayer is eligible for 3 or 4p at this point. LAV 2 or 3p. Why not go big?

Don’t put too much faith in this guy. Apparently he likes to over-inflate some artists’ numbers, and has a history of trying to downplay M’s achievements going back to when COADF was released.

Even wikipedia won’t allow chartmasters to be an official source.

yeah it's known that he's inflating Jacko's numbers because he's his absolute fave, and he's been also doing the same for Taylor, so she could unseat Madonna from her pole position among women. He updates them weekly if not daily.

He also uses a methodology that he invented himself so he can tweak it however he wants it

To him, Madame X has sold 0 copies WW for example and he states the album has only 301k album equivalents (with streams only) to this day, most of M's numbers are way outdated and /or have wrong info -when it comes to Madonna-

Yeah he’s a complete fraud. Just yesterday I saw a list he tweeted of “the top most global female artists of all time.”

Gaga was #1, Madonna was #2, Selena Gomez (lol) was #3.

What was his methodology? What data did he base this list on?

Idk wtf they’re talking about, it’s still not showing up on riaa’s website. And if it’s announced today idk what these people are doing as it’s eligible for at least 4x platinum in the US. They‘re so lazy and inefficient.
