What I liked about the VT and WTG was that there weren't all these sections that you guys get so stuck on. She just played her hits and that was that.

I’d actually prefer a show like that, I just don’t think she would ever do it. She sticks to the Jamie King format… aka four or five sections of four or five songs and a big reliance on video screens to set the the scene. Personally I don’t think there needs to be a ‘scene’…. I don’t even think there needs to be a theme or an array of dancers… but we know that’s how she does it.

I keep saying she MUST stick to the actual hits only for this tour (yeah, you got it, no Human Failure, Mierdellin, or album tracks) but I still wish Give it 2 Me and Celebration were sh included. Not only they've been massive encore bangers already, but they actually are great hits in Europe and being more recent they should at least sampled or inserted imo, even tho not as massive and global as her classics

I guess it depends on where you live and how you measure it; "Greatest Hits" could be subjective.  I assume most gauge a 'greatest hit' if it's a #1 or top ten.  "Celebration" and "Give it 2 Me"  both managed top 10 in numerous markets and #1 in a couple.  So in that sense, those songs could be considered 'greatest hits'.  Then you have a song like "Holiday" which has become a signature Madonna song and most people expect to hear it live, yet it wasn't a global hit right out of the bag.  It took several releases for it to be thought of as a global song for her.  It's crazy to think of it not being a "Greatest Hits" since that song went on to seel millions, but she's had many other songs that surpassed Holiday's achievements in far less of time. The two you mentioned and hope to hear, could easily be included in a Greatest Hits Tour because both are anthem type songs.

I can't remember the last time I was less excited for a greatest hits tour by a top ten favorite artist of mine. I doubt that she could sell out big venues even if the setlist was nothing but hits. Her credibility as a live performer has vanished into thin air and I doubt she could physically handle a tour unless she reinvents her methods such as cutting out a bunch of the dancing nobody cares about anyway.

well, Madonna is famous to have collected songs of similar themes and divided her show into four sections.

But this thought suddenly came to me. This is her first greatest hit tour, and if she divide the sections according to the theme of the song in that way as usual, what is the difference from her previous tour? So suddenly, this idea came to my mind. In this upcoming her the first greatest hit tour, how about dividing sections of the show according to the time period rather than according to the theme of the song?

From the present to the first starting point in the past, she and her fans together goes back in time.

(*The songs in each section are just arranged in order of album.)

Section 1 : 2023~2010

I Don't Search I Find

Back that up

living for love

bitch I'm Madonna

rebel heart (Avicii version)

girl gone wild

give me your luvin

Section 2 2000s theme

candy shop

4 minutes

hung up

sorry

american life

hollywood

Music

don't tell me

what if feels like for a girl

Section 3 : 1990s theme

ray of light

frozen

nothing really matters

secret

take a bow

erotica

rain

justify my love

rescue me

vogue

Section 4 : 1980s theme

like a prayer

express yourself

papa don't preach

open your heart

live to tell

material girl

like a virgin

crazy for you

lucky star

border line

everybody

holiday

The reason why I chose the theme of going back in time is that it will bring out more and more of her biggest hits toward the end of the show, and by the end of the show, Show will reach the climax.

Think about it! Not only the songs change by the times, also the costumes and hairstyles for each section change according to the times! isn't it fantastic?

Ok... here's a quick idea... There's a bunch of Mashups so we can hit multiple songs in one go and it will be a reminder of how she used to reinvent her songs up until recently. And so it won't be too boring for her as a straight up "singing the hits". A few unexpected moments so it's not so Vegas Show like.

Opening with Wash All Over Me to create drama and then straight into 3 BIG BANGERS

I've also included a bunch of songs that have never been performed live and some non hits that show just how amazing her catalog is, like Love Tried to Welcome Me, Swim, and Back in Business.

and then after the crazy closing songs she will come out and sing "This is my Playground" with just a spotlight as a heartfelt goodnight. Something unexpected and different and sentimental. Words of the song are changed to reflect that the stage is her playground and she doesn't want the night to end.

Yes, sure she'll do 30+ songs every night and change hairstyles for you.

As much as I’d enjoy that show, you might as well just let her walk on stage and tell the general public to Fuck Off.

Back in Business? Little Star? Love Tried To Welcome Me? Swim? Future?

That could hardly be greatest hits,  it’s borderline depressing 🤣

I see her putting Celebration on the setlist though. maybe a mashup with Holiday? who knows

Of course, that is not a actual list. I just wrote down some oh her hits songs for each era. I mean we are talking about Madonna right now. No one here would think Madonna would sing more than 30 songs for her fans.

And about hair style.

Madonna already showed four different hairstyles on the MDNA tour, Rebel heart tour, and even Madame x tour. I don't understand why you assume that is impossible thing.  Are you even Madonna fan?

I hope so at least, it's one of my faves, it's an anthem and it also did great in Europe and is one of her most recent stuff. Also count that it was performed at Pride last year so they clearly take it in consideration recently and might re-use it for the tour, not hard to think it might make the setlist 🤞🏻

Yeah but the way they’re presented on that setlist and interspersed with some pretty dreary songs just makes for a miserable sounding concert.
