It's not a Bjork lookalike is a dancer with bantu knots hairstyle. Madonna is donning braids and afro. All black hairtstyles.

The 90s rave culture was popular in similar hairstyles, also dreads. And 90s Bjork looks was very representative of that look.

I see this album as a transition, there is nota signature look or sound all along the album's life.

It is very interesting.

Whether intended or not, it was def a transition to a much 'softer' public friendly Madonna - she then went on with STR, Evita, You'll See and then ROL - 

She did sing 'absolutely no regrets' in HN - but it was def a softer side of her, but also, she was still on brand with the Details photo shoot, Interview etc.

What I found fascinating with the ROL was she still maintained that brand but in a softer 'kylie'isque' way - performing TPOG in a complete see through top - and images of her, not sure where, in I think a see through top again - so still holding the power to chose who objectifies and how.
