Maybe. I definitely think that she would of related this if she could have gotten Quintin Tarantino to direct the music video (didn't she say that in the Facebook stream?)

This song is epic! always thought it was the centerpiece of the album, when the MDNA tour was being planned (and maybe it's just the fact that they both use police sirens) but I wanted this and Thief and Hearts to be a mash-up so badly.

The song would never have gotten played on the radio. The music video probably would've been banned, age restricted on YouTube, etc. The song was also only available on the explicit version of the album. It wasn't a likely choice for a single and I'm not surprised it wasn't released. It probably wouldn't have done well due to the reasons I mentioned.

No, he said he would do it if they could get in done in 3 days. He was directing a movie at the time and didn't have scheduling flexibility.

I think Gang Bang is a GREAT song, and definitely one of the top 3 songs from MDNA, but I agree with @@Independent Thinker. I couldn't see it getting any sort of release for the same reasons @@Independent Thinker said.

I love the song and always wanted it to be a single... I'm not sure that it would improved the album sales much though... Madonna's problem is not her music, but a lack of media and radio support for her music.

I disagree, sometimes the problem is the music. MDNA was a very poor album.
