Nice. It's still not in the main banner rotation here at the time of posting this (which is what @Donna was querying), but I expect it's only a matter of time now

I’m in the UK - I’ve just clicked for the £9.99 subscription to GloboTV on the app to get ‘Globo International’. This has given me access to ALL the channels including MultiShow. It all plays fine. No VPN.

I didn’t plan on doing that, I just clicked it on impulse. At least now I can watch if without messing with a VPN… and get it LIVE on my 75inch (tv)!

Thank you so much for all the advice here, everyone! Was hesitant to get too excited about tomorrow, given the complexities of signing up here, but looks I was able to sign up and watch on my laptop. Currently watching the channel it will be on tomorrow. Anyone know why I wouldn't be needing a VPN? US based here.

I still want to run another test with a couple of friends tomorrow, but in theory, yes*.
*With the caveat that nobody watching along with me gets mad if there are technical issues. I don't usually have any issue hosting various watch parties for friends across the globe, BUT I can't be certain how everything (the Brazilian servers I'll connect to AND Globoplay) is going to cope/hold up on the night with Lord knows how many of us connecting to/using them.

Unfortunately I don't see any listing for CBN - I only see it in the programme listings for Multishow (a paid-for channel) and TV Globo (a free channel):

Being completely honest with you, I'm not your girl for diagnosing/figuring out the Globoplay app. I did just have a quick look at the app on my phone for you (I'm also in the UK), and even when I'm logged in and have my VPN set to Brazil, I can't watch TV Globo. It might just be that my phone settings and/or app store settings need adjusting to Brazil too, but I don't particularly want to mess with that because I can see myself forgetting to switch it all back and then not getting up for work tomorrow. Hopefully someone else can help confirm for you.
I found getting set up on my laptop (via web browser and VPN, as per the featured post) a lot more straightforward.

What browser are you using, and do you have browser extensions installed or run any browser scripts?
I don't experience this issue in Google Chrome unless I have all my browser extensions and scripts enabled and running (I use/run a LOT for work reasons). Ad-blocking extensions or ad-blocking scripts in particular can really mess things up. If I have all of them disabled in incognito mode and use an incognito window to access TV Globo I have zero issues.
If that doesn't resolve the issue, the only other thing I've noticed is that sometimes choosing to translate the page can fuck with it and cause loading issues. This is only really overcome by not letting your browser translate the page at all, not letting your browser translate the page until it's fully loaded, or by letting it do its thing and refreshing a few times.

Exclusive: It's going to be samba! #Madonna has reserved a special moment for the closing concert of #TheCelebrationTour, this Saturday,  on Copacabana Beach. A group of drummers made up of 20 children, all rhythm players from #RioCarnaval samba schools, under the command of #PretinhoDaSerra, will play while the artist interprets one of her hits. The youngsters are already rehearsing and had the opportunity to meet the #QueenofPop at the Copacabana Palace, where she is staying and rehearsing. What a moment! Those backstage said that the diva threw herself into the samba when she heard the drums... be warned that she's going to be very emotional! #cantwait #madonnacelebrationtour #madonnainrio

Done! I've changed my VPN, and changed the PC clock to Brazilian area and now I'm watching Globo TV live on my laptop!! So excited!
And yes, the translator made problems to load the website on different moments of the process, so better deactivate it!

If you're able to view/watch the TV Globo channel via the Globoplay app without a VPN, you should be good to go based on the information provided about the broadcast so far.
When you say 'The Celebration Tour isn't showing up though', what exactly do you mean by that? Isn't showing up where? The broadcast is currently scheduled to begin on TV Globo at 21:45 PM (BRT) on Saturday 4th May.

Can you try using this link here (from my original post) on a desktop or laptop browser like Google Chrome? It should allow you to sign up for a free Globoplay account to gain access to TV Globo without any issue.
This is the first screen you should see:

Then when you click the 'Create an account' hyperlink towards the bottom of the page, this should be the next page:

    Go here: https://globoplay.globo.com/
    1. Sign up for a Free account
    2. To view any free content; make sure you set your VPN to a Brazilian network. Otherwise, nothing will play.
    3. You're set. Just make sure your VPN is set and check your local time vs actual broadcast time.

I wish there was a push to a world-wide broadcast of this event! I feel like this is just really exclusive to Brazilians.  I don't feel like (other than fans) that anyone else is aware of this broadcast or see any encouragement to get people outside of Brazil to watch it.

    1.      THE SHOW WILL BE BROADCAST ON TV GLOBO & MULTISHOW. YOU WILL NEED TO CREATE A GLOBOPLAY ACCOUNT.
The show will be broadcast on the Globoplay channels TV Globo (a free TV channel in Brazil) and Multishow (a paid for channel in Brazil). Confirmed here.
We can expect to see the programme listing here by Wednesday 1st May/Thursday 2nd May, and on the day, there should be a banner on Globoplay.
Reports are saying Globoplay will have an open signal (so the show will be available to watch without being logged in), but to be safe, you can create a free Globoplay account to gain access to TV Globo here. Alternatively, you can sign up and pay to gain access to Multishow here with the ‘Globoplay + canais’ subscription.
Please note: You will be asked to provide your telephone number as the final step of the sign-up process. The input field seems to restrict the number of digits you can enter, which may present an issue with some international telephone numbers. There should be an option to skip entering your phone number and set it at a different time. If - for any reason - the option to skip doesn't work and results in you being presented with an error page, people have reported that doing a password reset seems to resolve the issue.

    2.      IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO VIEW/WATCH TV GLOBO OR MULTISHOW WHEN LOGGED INTO YOUR GLOBOPLAY ACCOUNT YOU WILL NEED TO USE A VPN THAT HAS BRAZILIAN SERVERS.
Due to copyright restrictions and geo-restrictions, you may find yourself unable to watch TV Globo or Multishow even after creating your free account or setting up a subscription. In this instance, you will need to use a VPN that enables you to connect to Brazilian servers in order to watch.
Commonly recommended VPNs include NordVPN and Surfshark due to the range of servers available and fast download/upload speeds. Both of these do charge a small monthly fee, but come with a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you sign up for either now and do not wish to use them beyond the broadcast, you can cancel and get your money back.
Not sure how to set up and use a VPN? The setup guides (covering various operating systems/devices) are here for NordVPN and here for Surfshark.
On the day of the broadcast, ensure you have connected to a Brazilian server/set your location to Brazil via your VPN.
You can check that everything’s good to go in advance by connecting to a Brazilian server/setting your location to Brazil via your VPN, logging into Globoplay, and trying to watch TV Globo (or Multishow, if you’ve purchased the subscription plan). If you can watch then you’re good to go.
