The nostalgia; It's been "neat" (😁), but I've never been one to keep looking back. I always want to keep moving forward and for a while it seems Madonna has been reflecting instead of marching on, and I guess that's partly down to a portion of the fanbase who revel in the nostalgia of "Madonna". Maybe now it's out of her system, she'll work with some new musicians, producers and writers that will deliver something we haven't heard from Madonna before. But really, at this stage, she doesn't have to do fuxk all for anyone either 🙂 she's really in uncharted territory where no other living artist has been before. Happy for her to just enjoy whatever she wants to do. She's earned that right.

True! Omg, this is even better than the 13 min Super Bowl, she was on fire and nobody cared about her mic feed, sound delay, melodyne or autotune.
Please, can we enjoy this as it was? 5 years ago 'fans' here were complaining about not having a live broadcast like in the old times and now that we have it and the energy was amazing, the forum is suddenly full of bitter sound technicians and vocal coaches.
And nobody gives a f*ck if Don't tell me was out of sync or her team put melodyne on her voice on the second chorus.

She would be well aware of no new music since MX (apart from some of her tracks re-done with some younger artists who inspire her). Guy and the team who would well aware of all the great press as well. They would have a plan in place.  Stuart has been touring with her the whole time.  His work was basically done at the start putting all the tracks together.  I reckon he would have been working on tracks the whole time.  It maybe sooner than we think

Yeah, I have to agree.  This show and broadcast was the best thing to happen to her.  The "audio" discussion is just obsessive nitpicking at this point.  No one is talking about it or bothered by it, but the couple who keep repeating it.  At the end of the day, she scored big time here and we should be appreciative and happy of that. 

Bitches she’s Madonna, she gave 5 back to back concerts in Mexico City, goes partying, flies to Brasil, rehearsed until 2 am, gives the largest most successful performance of her life, and then goes to the after party with Diplo and you all are: 
Take a rest, have a holiday drink a piña colada. She’s on the best audience perception she has had in years, strike it while it’s hot, the press and the world is on her side. 
Have a nap and get to work on new music, yes go to Italy and the Maldives in between takes but get to work. The time is now, the time is waiting and all that ticktock shit we have been hearing for years. 
Agree with no reissues and reminiscences that’s over, she just made $200M just doing that.

Exactly, there are more and more deals between labels or publishers and tv producers, especially talent shows or song contests.

Probably the label has to authorize in this case. Some talent shows with agreements with certain labels only use songs from those labels, etc.

Depends on the local broadcasting and copyright laws.
There are many different systems around the world, some are very restrictive or managed only through private commerce law, some are more comprehensive and operate through collecting societies that dispatch the money afterwards according to many calculations.
I guess in your country, broadcasters pay an annual fee to a rights society (according to their viewership and revenue or budget), and then every single properly registered and declared song that is played within that year gets a share.
