There’s a loneliness and vulnerability in The Look Of Love that is utterly haunting and something rarely on display in Madonna songs. The fact that was the third and most forgotten single of the campaign, and indeed the 80’s, further compounds what I said above. A further rejection and humiliation that just makes the song feel even more lonely and abandoned, which has always been kind of poetic to me. It has always been the perfect link to the Like A Prayer album in its serious and melancholy tone. How she was ultimately to feel about Sean. A foretelling if you will. It also waves goodbye to that first pop incarnation of her 80’s persona before she focuses on her new incarnation of Madonna the artist. Never more white blonde on its single sleeve than ever before, right before she goes back to her dark roots.  It’s top ten Madonna for me hands down I absolutely never tire of it and the live arrangement on the WTG tour is one of my all time favourites of hers. 

Something bigger? A blanket on her official store?

Good god do I HATE the term "dated". I mean, at a certain point, everything is dated. Doesn't make it any less great.
Hell, pretty much every one here is "dated".

I love the movie, the soundtrack and the tour. I find her sublime in the WTG clip with this dark hair and light makeup 
I have a particular attachment to this period. She was an untouchable goddess at that time. All this incredible overexposure. It was a crazy time. The tour is so iconic and the first concert of my life ! 

I would say The First Album is better than Like a Virgin overall, no doubt for me.
But to say that "Think of Me" is better than "Dress You Up", "Like a Virgin" or "Material Girl"? That's unheard of. But to each of their own I personnally think that "Think of Me" is only better than "Pretender" and "Shoo-Bee-Doo". It's not a bad song, but clearly feels like filler in an otherwise really good album.

She's never had it better in the last... 15 years? for releasing new music and actually making an impact. She's just been universally praised after Rio. The world is rooting for her like never before in ages.
If she has a KILLER track and Warner throws some good money on promo she can do it again.

Can't believe that after 16 years of wait, the dream to see her live in concert finally came true. It was beautiful, it was insane, it was magical and it was the best night of my life. I will never forget what I felt when the lights turned out and she appeared on that stage singing Nothing Really Matters, for a second I thought I was gonna faint. Even tho I was very far from the stage, because I was watching from the sidewalk in front of Copacabana Palace, it was a beautiful experience and one I will never forget. I can only thank Madonna for existing and for playing such a important role in my life and for fighting for us during these 40 years.

Yeah... at times, it's overly polished. Don't Tell Me is vocally over-edited. She sounded fine live. They autotuned her voice in several moments (I compared the audio, and it's quite obvious) and amplified the backing vocals.
But it was not an easy job, they just had 10 minutes delay
 
I suspect they also used vocals from other concerts. In Don't Tell Me, when she kisses her daughter, her voice continues to be heard (and it didn't sound like backing vocals to me).

I got home now and I'm still shocked.  This 65-year old woman is impressive and the show was epic and huge.  Sorry the other audiences but brazilians are the best lol. Watching it with my whole family even in different places in Copacabana was special too. Listening  to their opinions too.  Please let the links to download work,  I wanna download everything. Great memories from Rio are burning my heart right now. 

Honestly. We are so lucky to live in her timeline. I feel like it's one of my greatest blessings to have witnessed this from the beginning. This woman is beyond. We are talking about an all time figure here. Not just a pop music icon a mythical powerful influence on the world that will be studied and revered forever, long after we are all gone....and we got to witness is all, live it in REAL TIME. Such a blessing. I know I sound extra as fuck but it really is something completely intangible. The hard core here who have logged in and checked on her every day, the think pieces, the social commentary the iconography. Literally the first disciples. 
She anointed us in real time you lot.

The live audio is the closest ive heard to one of her 80's and 90's tours ever. I swear to god I think this has turned a corner for her. She will one hundred percent be more inclined to do the hits from now on because the love she has felt on this tour and the reactions of fans truly living for the oldies must have been a shot in the arm for her after us having to suffer Dark Ballet live :/
Side note. I know Nothing Really Matters was the Opening number but for me Everybody should be the opening number forever from now on. The energy oh my god. That song has always been so so so underrated in the Madonna fan base and it's always been top ten for me. 
I'm gagging listening to this concert back like I haven't been since maybe Girlie Show. Rebel Heart and Confessions were great too but this is sublime.
