So what are we gonna do once the show is over! Funny how time works hey - before the tour started - we were all anxious and excited and counting down - now it's almost over :/
Although, looking forward to seeing what she delivers next - I have faith she'll keep serving us delicious little morsels.

The song that made me a fan. I already owned Holiday but Into the groove was something else, until then most if Madonna's output, minus Burning Up, was very RnB, Into the groove infused it with a New Wave sound, there are hints of New Order in ITG. It's also a special song in Madonna's catalog because it's the first track she was officially credited as a co-producer. If Madonna's tracks until then were more Roxy and Funhiuse inspired, ITG was pure Danceteria. The track has been praised by Debbie Harry, Patti Smith, Sonic Youth, Pet Shop Boys...It's probably the sound she had in mind fot LAV before she was forced to have a big name producer working on it by Warner.  ITG is Madonna's first record in her own terms. And because of its huge success in Europe, she was given (almost) free reign to produce her third album.

Nothing personal, but why don't some people just enjoy these good things they say about Madonna? It always seems like a competition to impose your opinion, and if it were just that that would be fine, but they end up depreciating incredible work that won over a large part of the fan base. Life is too short to be so bitter. Be kind 

Into the groove encloses perfectly the 80s...... the hedonistic 80s........ the desire to dance, have fun and live......... love so much this song and this era of Madonna...........

Actually the side screens are sort of useless anyway with this setup because there will be no seats to the side. Maybe giant screens on the side of the stage like the older tour instead? They can also put screens all along the beach so the entire audience can watch something no matter how far back the are.

It will also be interesting to see how they will do for all the screens that unfold. I noticed that they were already moving in the arena with the air conditioning so on a beach, it will be complicated to stabilize them with the sea air 

Not only how many times, but WHO ELSE can celebrate 40 years in the music industry, being an active artist and people attending your tours in million. She is one and only and yet... for 40th anniversary, all we've got was Lucky Star video, lol/tears
And if they can repress Celebration vinyl from 2009 while she is on tour, why reissues need to be stopped while she is touring? I simply don't understand that logic. It's not a new album, it's REISSUE with same songs +some bonuses from vault, moreover they had full 2 years before she went on tour to prepare it. This is mostly aiming at fans, it's not gonna sell with general public that much anyway. Actually, tour is a perfect opportunity to reissue 2-3 iconic albums while she is touring and 'love' for Madonna is being spread among fans again. It would sell like crazy. But no, let's rather wait until when? When every anniversary has long passed, as Madonna 40?! 

But this is absolutely ridiculous... They made that announcement back in 2021,she has stared touring in 2023. What about 2 years in between? 
There is always some excuse from some fans:
- they cannot release it now because it is too early, they made that announcement only 3 months ago, they are definitely working hard on it
- they cannot release it because it's not any anniversary, so it does not make sense
- they cannot release it now because FEL has been recently released 
- they cannot release it now because she is working on a movie
- they cannot release it, because she is touring. 
... While they even missed the big Madonna 40 (!!!) 
Life is not a closed book, there is and always will be something happening. I don't even listen to music of Taylor. But she can do tour, new album and 'Taylor version' (which is basically a rerelease in a sense), while Warner cannot put out one reissue they promised 3 years ago.

Ok, just finished to read the whole 5 pages conversation and I'm so fucking happy and smiling, for our joy, for our enthusiasm, for the HUGE sharing the night of the 4th of may is gonna be for all of us around the world and the happiness that we'll feel just watching a one million crowd, full of super lucky fans, celebrating her career and dancing their asses off, cause, for how I know them, Brazilians will show the right way to do it 
And yes @Askeroff! We're gonna have the live recording, without crazy editing or tons of filters and weird visual effects, we deserve, as for WTG, BA or GS (I can't access to the platform though, I'm afraid I need a VPN right @rodrigochecchia?)

I can't tell how excited and proud I am of being a Brazilian right now! It's been years since she last had a concert broadcasted... Apart from the Superbowl and the 'half' concert MDNA Olympia, it hasn't happend since DWT if I'm not mistaken.

Usually the amazing fireworks spectacle, plus ceremonies to Yenanjá and receiving the new year dressed in white on Copacabana beach attracts 3million people, so Rod not diminishing his accomplishment had a little help. 

On 31 December 1994, Rod Stewart played in front of 3.5 million people on Copacabana beach in Rio, and made it into the Guinness Book of World Records for staging the largest free rock concert attendance in history.

Wow! That's incredible.  Unfortunately, I don't see Madonna breaking that record, but would it be awesome if she did.  Thanks for the info.
