ITG got a reaction from patrice1711 in What is the timeline of Madonna songs/videos that made you a fan?
For me it was Burning Up on Aussie music program Rage. Was obsessed with this sexy woman rolling around on the road.
Then Aussie music show Countdown (Molly Meldrum hosts) TOTP video for Holiday. Learnt the choreography. And then next Lucky Star video, learnt the choreo.
Did a road trip around Australia with my parents and sister for a couple of months. Bought Madonna on cassette and played it over and over in the car on our travels. My dad really liked the album.
When I was 12 in my last year of primary school Like A Virgin came out. It was huge amongst all us young ones in school.
Then Material Girl was released and I loved that video and it increased my fandom.
We bought our very first stereo with record player, equaliser, double tape deck and CD player. My first CD was Like A Virgin. Bought it when we got the stereo. Played it endlessly. I remember my first year in high school, my new friends saying see sounded like a man singing Angel . I guess in comparison to the rest of the album she did, but I definitely don't hear that at all anymore.
Desperately Seeking Susan was released and I went and saw it at the cinema, and once Into The Groove came on....THAT WAS IT!
Fan for life! Into The Groove no matter where I am, what I'm doing, when I hear it start, it gives those feelings of happiness and excitement, and takes me back to an exciting and wonderful time. Joy!
Madonna brings me nothing but joy. To grow up with her in the 80's was a magical time.
Kids in school were always singing her songs. I still remember a girl Maria singing Causing A Commotion and saying how Madonna just write the catchiest songs and she can do no wrong.

Thing is : never assume people know you and are able to interpret what you wrote. Write always as if your reader has no idea of who you are and where you speak from. Never underestimate people, never overestimate them either.

I've said this before in another thread regarding this statement Madonna said to him.  He does have a way of throwing shade her way, especially with certain guests who obviously can't stand Madonna.  He encourages the tea being spilled.  He's like a school girl, begging for gossip.  I always felt like he was the sort of person who would kiss one's ass to their face, but behind their back, talk shit about them.
Of course, I don't know him personally and maybe he's a good guy, but his demeanor and actions publicly tell me different.

    FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Madonna's Virtual Rock Album "ROCK CHRONICLES" Finds Its Way Online
New York, June 14 2023 - Madonna, the legendary Queen of Pop, unintentionally embarks on an audacious musical venture with a virtual concept-album titled "ROCK CHRONICLES." Although not an official release, this rock-oriented album created and mixed by Dan·K consists of 18 tracks that pay tribute to some of the greatest songs in the history of rock, metal, alternative, and punk history. This exploration of the rock genre will remind fans of Madonna's early days as a lead singer and drummer for punk/rock bands "Emmy & The Emmies" and "The Breakfast Club", by offering a fresh perspective on iconic tracks by rock legends such as Oasis, Deep Purple, Nirvana, Metallica, Megadeth, and even The Ramones. Collaborations with Korn and a duet with Thom Yorke infuse the album with an eerie sound, showcasing both the boundless possibilities of AI and highlighting Madonna's musical adaptability. *
