@Enricois totally right. There is no such thing as a 3rd version. The re-run is just the promodvd version, or the laserdisc one, or whatever u wanna call it, that we already have in a superb Q from that gorgeous promodvd, so nothing new under the sun. 2 versions, that's it.

I was just wondering... Is it possible that the second broadcast is identical to the laserdisc version? I checked it out and from a few samples I have the impression that obviously we don't have a third version... The second broadcast looks the "final" edit that is featured on many vhs editions. But it gave me a good excuse to rewatch this masterpiece. Best of the best. Everything's in there. A cast of seven dancers who are as brilliant as twenty, the incredible backup voices, the iconic costumes. There are even the jokes long before Tears of a clown! (The Adam and Eve one). Pure pop culture at its best. And I love the idea that it was shown live, without any editing or filters. Yeah, almost 30 years have passed (can't believe it) and many things have changed...

The final stop on Madonna's "Blond Ambition 90" tour in Nice, France, was broadcast live on HBO on August 5, 1990, and later issued as an exclusive Laserdisc release. Boasted as a "one night only" broadcast, the show was never supposed to be rerun - but almost exactly a year later, on July 28, 1991, HBO aired a special encore. 

Surprisingly, the 1991 broadcast was an entirely different edit of the same Parisian concert. Nothing was removed (not even the dead space between a few songs that was trimmed from the laserdisc), but the rerun featured countless shots from alternate camera angles, as well as altered credits sequences. To the best of my knowledge, this alternate version has never officially been seen again, and even hardcore fans were generally unaware of its existence until recently.  Presented here are both the original version (presumably dubbed from the long out-of-print LD) and the 1991 rerun (duped from VHS).

If you think about it, she posted the image from Messiah on July 2, 2014, adding "coming soon... #sorceress#deep". "Soon" didn't even mean "the same year", but "the same decade"  It took 5 more months and only because of the hackering!
I really hope for September, because it's really too hard waiting. Someone here recently it was hard between Bedtime stories and Evita, but we had STR and Evita!!

Per quanto riguarda la ricerca, esiste un riquadro Search in alto a destra nella pagina iniziale, ma ti consiglio di andare sui singoli gruppi (Multimedia/Videos e Multimedia/Audios) e di inserire qualche parola chiave... Non sempre i link sono aggiornati ma ce ne sono anche tanti funzionanti!

The first single on her birthday and album in fall would make everybody happy!!
The single would get much attention because of the birthday. In Italy vh1 will have the whole day dedicated to Madonna on August 16, which hasn't happened since the glorious Mtv 90s days... Many magazine covers are coming put, it's not a bad idea at all.

Her and Perez basically sunk Christina's "Bionic" campaign when the album was out; not that that record was going to be huge. (I like it though) He pretty much tore people down to bring her up. They also helped leak and spread "Femme Fatale" when Britney's album was out in order to damage her sales. They didn't mind claiming Madonna was "old, a hag" and "should retire" when Gaga's "Born This Way" came out and was criticized for being "Express Yourself."

Meanwhile, Gaga went and tooted her own about what a genius she was, how Whitney was the inspiration, lying about Madonna's well wishes all in all while her choreographer, make up artist, her collaborators (Richardson, DJWS) and other people trashed Madonna on Twitter, made passive aggressive comments long before Madonna ever publicly commented on the whole scenario in 2012.

The fanbase like to claim Madonna ignited the feud which is untrue. Madonna gave Gaga her props during her rise, went to shows with Lourdes and said how much she herself in her. Gaga is indeed a fan as her work shows the inspiration she drew from M however, it speaks volumes when you surround yourself with people who trash your "idol" and then play the sympathy card when it suits you. I love Gaga's work but people forget how her fanbase targeted a lot of other female artists for competition sake, #1's, chart positions, YouTube stats, silly games for nothing.

Well the fact that M didn't mention Born this way in the MDNA tour cd/dvd credits is a strong provocation, considering that she performed an entire chorus, but still they credit the She's not me sample, or Material girl in GGW. This is a declaration of war!

I don't want to be included in the haters. I have nothing against Beyonce or Adele or Gaga, I recognize they have great voices but they don't move me. But I am definitely not a "Madonna only" fan. Cyndi Lauper for instance: always buy her records, great admiration for her as a musician (Kinky Boots is a masterpiece and I am happy she is the first woman to win a Tony for writing), love seeing her live.
Of course Beyonce making a surprise record means that everyone can do it, considering the attention she receives. This is very very interesting.
