The music and melody of the song is great, but the lyrics are embarrassing. I get that it's supposed to be a fun song. It's not that deep, but they could've come up with better lyrics. I mean, "Feel it in your body, sing la de da de," seriously?

I just got my order in the mail!! I got the DVD/CD and 2CD version from Amazon. I am very happy with the packaging of both. The design is very nice, the booklet is a dream, and the cover is the best one she's had for a live release in years!
 
The bonus material on the DVD is very meh. I mean, Like A Prayer is good, but we've gotten that on the last two tours. Take A Bow would've been nice on ALL editions, not just the Japanese release. Plus, the Tears of A Clown excerpt isn't anything to get excited about. I'm not sure why she couldn't include the whole show. The parts that are included on here aren't even the most interesting parts. I would've preferred a behind-the-scenes documentary like she did for Sticky & Sweet. All that behind-the-scenes footage from the Showtime YouTube channel was wasted. 
 
But it's about time this tour gets an official release. After seeing the Barclays Center show almost two years ago, I'm very happy to finally have this! 

Thank God the details of the release are finally out. Can't say I'm thrilled with the bonus features. She spends all that time editing and teasing on IG only to include an "excerpt" from Tears of a Clown? And why is Like A Prayer the only extra song? I think we've had plenty of that song on the last three tours. Why not Ghosttown? or Take A Bow?? TAB wasn't performed on ANY of the tours until this one! Missed opportunity. But I'm glad we're finally getting a release. It's about time.
 
I'm just relieved about the DVD cover. It's her best live cover in years!!

I prefer to watch the Nice show, because it's filmed the way a concert is supposed to be filmed. The lighting on the Japan show was terrible and the audience wasn't very expressive. That's just the way Japanese audiences are. It shouldn't be an artists go-to location for filming their show, but you have to remember, that was filmed exclusively for Japan. The Nice show featured more audience reaction, interaction, and it was visually more appealing. It did a much better job of immortalizing that tour. 
 
Although, I do prefer the ponytail over the Monroe hair any day!

Oh please. Not another biopic. These are always so silly. I've never seen one that I liked.
 
I'm already embarrassed for Britney. And the Whitney one started to look like Cinemax After Dark at one point.

So all I'm gonna say. Some of the stuff that was cut ended up making it oddly disjointed. So much of the effects on stage and some theatrics got blocked/missed because of layer of backdrop on the screen.
I get the reason why people who are fans and went to S&S/MDNA got salty about over editing. As an attendee of the RHT it felt impersonal. Which was an EXTREME disservice to this VERY personal show. I did tear up at True Blue, that was done PERFECTLY.

Theres just no need for 5 different pants in la isla. Lav is so frustrating. Detroit pffff she sure had her hands to much on this and learned nothing from mdna. Well when so many fans dislike costume changes and overediting what do you think regular people will say about that. Deeper and deeper is unwatchable and to many times the live feeling is lost

No she was clearly talking about Instagram's rules.
 
First, she's part of that whole #freethenipple campaign. Then, when it doesn't fit her narrative, she's suddenly saying women's bodies are free to be objectified on Instagram. It's contradictory and makes no sense.
 
And I'm not too fond of her latest choice of companions. I hope she's not turning into a crazy SJW.

thats kinda rude tho, I mean yes its stupid for people to tell her not to be political or have opinions but if they aren't trying to be rude then why not explain to them why she's doing it instead if she's gonna respond? We need more unity, less anger.

Kind of hypocritical of her to be so hard on them when she told David Letterman about how much she loved going pheasant hunting. This was in 2003 when she was still married to Guy Ritchie. I understand if her feelings on it changed since then (which it obviously has), but still. She could've worded her caption differently.
 

 
Also, how is this a reason not to vote for Trump? It's one thing if she said not to vote for him because of his politics. That would be a valid reason for a candidate not to have your vote. But she's saying you shouldn't vote for him because his sons go hunting? That doesn't really make any sense.
