I really don't know why a lot of fans hate Madame X. Obviously it was not her best era, but it was... interesting. And coming from Hard Candy, MDNA and Rebel Heart, that is something. Musically it was different, she explored many genres and cultures (I wish she had focused on something more specific, because I enjoy more a cohesive album but okay) and for the first time in years I really feel she sounded fresh. She gave us a lot of videos, and they were all great. My only complaint here is the editing, I would have liked them to be more delicate with it. And then the tour... Unfortunately it didn't go as planned. It was a shame (for all the fans affected in particular) because the reviews were great and Madonna seemed to be really enjoying it. I hope she gets the rest she needs now and have a proper recover.

Oh my god! What a beautiful design  It would be an amazing way to celebrate such an iconic album 

Madonna - The Immaculate Collection 30th Anniversary
Hey gang - long-time reader/lurker, infrequent poster 
Like everyone else, I'm frustrated at the lack of any anniversary/expanded/box-set/celebratory anythings from Madonna.
For The Immaculate Collection's 30th anniversary this year, I knew we weren't likely to get anything nice, so I designed something myself and put it out in the universe to see what would happen. Tadaaaa.

Well now that he's done producing Pet Shop Boys album trilogy--maybe he'll get back together with Madonna. I would die for a Madonna album produced by Stuart and the PSB.
I want Madonna to go high camp disco party next with drag fashion, big groovy beats and dance moves, hints of freestyle, acid music and Chicago house a la Roisin Murphy. I think it would only be the most obvious choice and progression for Madame X. 
Add Sufjan Stevens to this production team and it would be total bliss.

But seriously, I think she'll come back in maybe three/four years with another album and then tour as she's been doing the last decade. Madame X doesn't feel like a goodbye era at all, at least for me... Maybe a greatest hits album will happen but I think it's useless in this streaming era. No one cares about compilations anymore, we have playlists now. And I think if it's really going to happen it will just be an excuse to do a greatest hits tour... I don't know how I feel about that tho. It could be interesting I guess.

It's a contractual thing. She renegociated her contract with Warner after the "American Life" album, the last one released under Maverick Records. iTunes and digital sales started around that time, 2003-2004. In 2005 she agreed to have her back catalogue of albums (not singles) on iTunes (the interview with Steve Jobs to promote it, etc.). 
When she signed her new contract, Warner made sure they had the rights to release every single digitally too starting with "Hung Up". I guess that's not the case with all the pre-Confessions singles, so they'd have to sign a new contract to make them available on digital.
AND not only her, we don't know what kind of contracts were signed with each remixer so maybe it's all a big legal mess and it's not worth it for Warner.
Warner and Madonna always had these little things going on, anyway, remember when they rushed to release the Yellow CD singles in 1995 just before her original contract expired.
Anyway, it'd be great to have all of her singles and remixes on digital platforms, it's about time!

Here in Argentina in the most popular radios they always play La Isla Bonita, Like a Prayer or Hung Up. But the last song I heard it's Heartbeat (?) in a online radio that I always hear. They play that song a lot, I really don't know why 

I did this 5 years ago just for fun  after I saw the Pink Floyd's Immersion box set and wondering why the hell Warner or even Madonna don't treat her legacy properly.
