Lol you cannot tell me that that song wouldn't fit completely perfect on MDNA.

You haven't mentionned my name but i will answer and say that i have listened to her whole album the day it's been released. I would never give a strong opinion without listening.

I mean those ARE her origins lol she is pretty boring and I think some of her earlier songs like BoomClap were cute but sound like Gwen Stefani rejects. She's alot like Lady Gaga in that sense where her music is basic but a small portion of gays think they're better than what they are and find others who agree and all of a sudden they think just because they're at meme status that that must mean everyone thinks they're great.

That is not the question uhhhh, i say her music sounds dated Period. It doesn't lead to another question about how many times i piss in a day or if prefer spaghettis or couscous. Her music sounds dated, that's all. Pepsi's Pepsi.

Well, that's what her music sounds like anyway. Bad electro pop from 2013. Those heavy basslines with her girlie screaming voice... Yawnn... Reminds me of the era of "Fancy" from Iggy Azalea, but at least that song was good and most of all it was 2014...

Her music sounds like what idiotic white american 16 girls would jam to in a party in a bad after-noon tv movie from 2013. Glad it's not famous her in France...

I mean it was Diplo then he brought in SOPHIE who i consider to be the first hyperpop artist, correct me if I'm wrong. Charli was always just pop and this new album i really do not understand the hysteria or uniqueness everyone sees. One of the songs even sounds like a david guetta song. Whats interesting is say for example if Madonna chose to do a hyperpop song or album this moment people would say she's just hopping on the trend when in reality she really brought it to the mainstream 10 years ago. I would even say BloodDiamonds (now BloodPOP) is also hyperpop to an extent. Anyway, glad this is just a rumor.

No offence but I don't think Lady Gaga innovated anything.  The electro-dance pop sound was already trending by the time she released The Fame (just the previous year we had Rihanna's Don't Stop The Music and Disturbia, Kylie Minogue's X album, Flo Rida's Low, Hilary Duff's Dignity album, M.I.A.'s Paper Planes.  Rihanna's SOS was already 3 years old by then.  The Dr. Luke/Max Martin/Bloodshy & Avant electro/rock/pop/hip hop sound was already in full swing after Kelly Clarkson's Since U Been Gone, Avril Lavigne's Girlfriend, The Veronicas 4Ever, Britney's Blackout and Circus albums.  The tropical pop vibes of Eh Eh Nothing Else I Can Say had Kevin Lyttle's Turn Me On and Paris Hilton's Stars Are Blind as a blueprint.  Musically, The Fame gave us nothing that hadn't come out before, just now with performance art lifted from David Bowie, Freddie Mercury, Elton John, and modern pop-art artists.
Or if we want to talk about how Alejandro's reggae pop was a callback to Ace of Base, Born This Way was Express Yourself 2.0, The Fashion of His Love was I Wanna Dance With Somebody 2011, You & I was a Shania Twain song + the step step clap of We Will Rock You... I can keep going.

I don’t think Spanish speaking countries are as influenced by her fame as Madonna did
Media is very much fragmented making her, yes incredibly large fan base remain within their own ecosystem young girls from an specific socio demographic group
Madonna, at least in Mexico at her peak was known by everyone and all their family up to their great grandparents… TV was an unifying media… it was a social event, not the case anymore, media is fragmented, info is fragmented, entertainment consumption is fragmented as well.

I wouldn't lose sleep of it's fake. That girl's music sounds like rejects from From Britney's Femme Fatale. Dated club music from 2013. Only the first song posted earlier on this thread sounds a bit current with the 90's piano but the rest is horribly dated.

the problem is that Madonna's collabs with these artists never go anywhere and gen Z doesn't bite, because the songs just not good enough. These artists save the good songs and genuine hits for themselves or other younger collab artists. They collab with Madonna because it's an honor to work with a legend, not because they are hoping for a hit.

Update from Matthew Rettenmund via Instagram.
Dan Gilroy reports that Madonna wanted her personal letters from the auction, so she signed the 2 guitars and the drum set in exchange for them. While fans will not be able to bid on Madonna's letters, just look at these gorgeous 2024 autographs on these 45-year old pieces of rock history. Incredible. Everybody wins.

She has 0 cultural impact. Standing with a guitar singing about your ex has the cultutal impact of a pigeon on a roof. Shania Twain had way more charisma and personnality than her. She's the blandest succesful singer ever.

As for Taylors shows and ticket sales, most of today kids are totally dumb when it comes to their idols and music, they just worship singers that are totally bland and safe and they just follow the mass. They just don't like original, one of a kind and  adventurous artists. They are the safest generation ever. The total opposite of kids from the 80's who were searching for rebels artist who were pushing boundaries. Today the safest the most successful and Taylor Swift is the perfect product, her fans don't even have to think or have an opinion. The girl is standing with her guitar singing about her ex boyfriend for the 560th time and these boring and predictable kids are in admiration... That is pathetic. Look at the charts... The biggest sellers are now or totally def rappers rapping about their bitches big asses or their money, or bland singers who take no risk and are safer than your grandmother... Totally uninspired and uninspiring generation. It's all about looking perfect on Instagram but they have 0 artist creativity.
