Thanks to all of you who have been grateful of the files I shared here, the many participants of the megarates I've been making, as well as all the members who sent me supportive messages while my life was going downhill. Thanks to all of you for making Infinity one of my daily places to have some free and happy time!

I just wanted to say on behalf of Infinity a HUGE thank you to @bertrandfor such a worthwile cause and to the ENTIRE community here for such generous donations. 
Now more than ever with America swinging further and further to the right - services like this are needed more so than ever for the young and vulnerable...the amount raised is really amazing.
I also want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has been sharing such rare items - @Dee Jay AI Studios@Dazedmadonna@frxasaca - plus so many more - @DanK for the amazing work with the video edits, @Blue Jeanfor the incredible Sex Book documentary -  the community is not a community without moments like these.
Everyone brings something to the community and I am immensely proud and it validates my decision in taking over this community for everyone.

I really don't mind not having more Ray Of Light Edits... maybe they're saving them for Part 2 or something using the alternative cover. Who knows? 

With it being called Single Mixes will it be just all the radio edits on this release and possibly the extended mixes  the week after? I guess we will find out Friday (or Thursday with Australia first)

Ever since @Dee Jay AI Studios leaked a lot of gems, including the Jellybean sessions multitrack of Borderline, we have felt so overwhelmed by everything happening and that includes me. So... while I was bored at work yesterday, I decided to take the multitracks and do my own mix from them, using the Q-Sound/Immaculate Collection mix as my basis for it. Personally, I think I did decently good with it. It sounds clean while staying true to the original mix as much as possible.
I believe I am not the first one who did as @clkelley39 shared his own mix of Borderline and I think he did an amazing job. I'm just hopping in the bandwagon.

Like @Openyourheart they could have released Can't Stop in the UK and it would have been top 5, same with Where's The Party Remix.  She could have issued anything 1985-1990 here in the UK and  it be a smash hit though. 
We had that quiet year before LAP (1988) when they could have padded out a few more singles. I guess it worked though as it was a huge deal when she came back with Like A Prayer.

Susan however knew.
 

Like A Virgin, Material Girl, Borderline and Holiday really did the leg work for the Madonna brand but it was Into The Groove and Crazy For You that took it from Madonna fans to Madonna mania. 
 
The move to silver screen ( very cleverly preempted in the Material Girl video) set the stage for a global Icon. They changed the movie name to her song (Crazy For You) and i’d probably argue that it was the video clip for Groove and Desperately Seeking Susan that defined her look so succinctly that gave birth the the “Wannabe” to the point Macy’s felt it was financially viable to launch Madonnaland. 
 
Quite simply Into The Groove was the song that made
”that girl in the wedding dress”
COOL! 
 
I think it remains her coolest song.
It’s as effortless as putting on a pair of black diamond studded pixie boots and Bolero jacket with a pyramid on the back and eating Cheetos in your bra and shades.

I remember going to my friends house and we put on like a Virgin and her copy didn’t have Into The Groove and mine did. We were ten and we were like.
 

I remember being shocked that Holiday wasn’t on Like A Virgin as they were both a number one and two in the singles charts in the same week here. 
 
Into The Groove was THE song in the UK. 
It was the song that captured the nation and cemented her from pop fluff to serious contender. It’s still her biggest selling song here. 
 
Those rereleases were really fuckin with my ten year old brain. 
 
I also loathed that she wasn’t on the cover of the Holiday 12”
It was such an odd move from Warner when her image was key to her visibility here at that time. 

I can't imagine LAV without ITG either

See for me it feels odd without it cause I’m an UK boy …and let’s be honest LAV bloody needed another mega hit to fill out the padding.
