i am happy that she is standing up for herself, but the excuse that the photos look the way they do because of a distorting long lense are ridiculous, everyone was shot by the same lense and the other people didn't look distorted. A wide angle lense would do a heavy distortion if used for a close up.

    ^ This
It's like those celebs crying about how much of a struggle it is because they're stuck in their fully stocked 12 bedroom, 8 bathroom mansions which having only their private movie theaters, infinity pools, tennis / basketball courts / fully equipped home gyms, and in-door spas for the next 2 weeks as they speak to us via marble enshrined bathrooms while getting luxury spa treatments from a staff of 5 about how this is a hard time for them and they're just like us.

Meanwhile, a good chunk of Americans are laid off of work temporarily so no income while still having to pay rent, car payment and buy groceries, small businesses have to figure out how to make ends meet while having mortgage and loan payments due, senior unable to go grocery shopping or see their families, and everyone has to be nervous about if they get sick how are they pay for medical treatment while being out of work. Plus there are the medical workers and doctors working around the clock to treat everyone during this crisis.

I think madame X needs a reality check... No this virus does not make us all equal, in these times it matters greatly if you're rich or poor, even more if you're young or old, the elderly are dying while the 20something are doing yoga in the parks because the virus hardly affects them! The poor don't have the luxury of having staff taking care of our children, groceries, or filming you for instagram. The poor need to take the risk of getting sick going out to get in line for basic needs, at the same time worying, not only about their health but also about their own future. So many people have lost their jobs. Governments (some) are doing their best, healthcare is trying even harder, I expect Madonna to do the same, but instead we get Madame X musing about the deeper meaning beneath all of it as if she were in a Parisian speakeasy during the 60's. There is a time for that sure, now is not that time. Now is the time to help, give money or supplies, help spreading factual information so people are informed and stay inside, let people forget about their worries for a minute and entertain them. Madonna always goes on on how important art is, how it can lift your spirits, how it can advocate for change. Well look around, everywhere there are artists, theatre groups, festivals, museums, they all share content, make new works, give away music, record plays, complete opera's are being offered for free to watch online, all to help people from going insane. This would be the time her art could really make a change for a lot of her fans. I really loved Madame X the record, the alter ego is something else though, in any case she's not the same woman who during RebelHeart gave tribute to the victims of Bataclan. We need empathy, solidarity and altruism, not self pitty! End of rant ;-) Next time more positive vibes x

According to NOM, the person chosen as beer bitch on the last show is not a Madonna fan at all... in his "comipedy" show he said: "You wear bodies, you twerk, you are 60, act your age, and die!"
When she says she fights for others, he commented: "Easy to say while wearing Versace!"

Not at all. You’d just open doors at 1830. Excuse all you like, she could be on stage at 20:45 every night.

We don't tolerate this type of attitudes and insinuations so you may wanna reconsider. It is extremely rude, discriminatory and the only conclusion is drama.

Yup. The show in itself is a good show, but I don’t think the tracks sit very well with each other and the pacing is bad. It’s like only the Fado section is designed as an actual “section” even though I dislike most of the tracks and the aesthetics in it, but 3/4 of the first segment was gone, American Life felt really cheap and low budget, Vogue was a terrible way to start a show about Madame X not to mention the mediocre choreography. I Don’t Search is good, though the excessive use of typewriters is off-putting, then the interlude of the coffin after American Life was too simplistic compared to the greatness of all her last interludes.
After the Fado section, it feels like cut bits and pieces. Rescue Me interlude is uninspired and too simplistic as well. Frozen is outstanding, and it could’ve had a follow up performance with that same gorgeous outfit, but no, cut into Come Alive then cut into Like A Prayer which is among her least inspiring performances and then I Rise is like alright, though I don’t get the choice of outfit. It’s alright. But not her most memorable closing track.
So many songs could’ve fit the Madame X persona and theme and fleshed her out as an actual secret agent traveling around the world and experiencing cultures could’ve made the set list: God Control, Easy Ride, Why’s It So Hard, Bad Girl, Die Another Day. X-Static Process, How High, The Power of Goodbye, Nothing Really Matters..etc.
    *sigh*

I love her with all my heart but this has been a problem on many previous shows. Not just the Madame X Tour.
Is it really so hard just to be on stage on time? It is unprofessional and I'm sick of fans acting as if it's cool and she's a rebel. No it's not cool and it's unprofessional. People have work in the morning or other plans and it's just not fair.
I love her, she's my icon. I just wish she could be on time and not have to cut things. The same happened with the Rebel Heart tour in Manchester.
It doesn't put me off seeing the Madame X show but I can see why people get annoyed and don't bother going.
If she was late on due to the injury then I think she really needs to take care and forget putting on a show for us and rest!

I don't buy that she delayed the show, or even started the intro but then stopped because people weren't seated. Anyone who has been to a concert/show knows when you hear the announcements you go to your seat, particularly if you hear the opening part! Moreover, the Palladium are strictly following the curfew set. I highly doubt any London show will go past 11.20pm at the latest. So if M is late on stage, she will have to cut songs to make curfew. Which in a way is better than cancelling a show.
Who would have guessed Madame X is also a curfew queen as well.....! I suppose there's a first time for everything.

It's clear by now she KNOWS she's not performing 2 shows in 2 days in a row let alone 3 shows 3 days in a row.
People are paying hotels, transportation, etc to see her only for her to cancel the day of each show. Why?
Why not make the necessary cancellations right now? I mean...how hard is it to talk to her team about it right now?
This isn't a simple injury. She knows what's going on with her. Madonna was known for being a professional and now suddenly i'm missing those days we didn't know if she was coming late on stage or not. Now she might show up or not?
She's doing theaters at those prices. Her hardcore fanbase is the one she's screwing here. This isn't really something she's going to make people forget.
If she tours again, a lot of people will fear something like this again. We have a lot of fans traveling through countries. If not this, the late night starts. If not that...the lottery programs. This tour has shown us Madonna and her "team" are barely on speaking terms with Live Nation really.
I know a lot of people here will dismiss this post...but let's look at her touring career 10 years ago and now. This has nothing to do with lack of hits on her shows or ageism. It's her behavior. She's not thinking about her audience and what it takes for people to go watch her show.
Now if we do get to have a ticket after all the lottery problems...she MIGHT or not show up. Even if she shows up she MIGHT or not show up on time. This was not happening years ago.

I think instead of GOD CONTROL she (and Casey Spooner lol) should have written:
    "We've lost NET Control"
It's absurd - and annoying - how all these social networks keep posting things totally detached from reality.
The worst one is M's IG account, where Ricardo Gomez (if it's him) keeps posting pictures regardless. So, 5 minutes after a cancellation, you might see a new Story with M smiling and performing on stage.
On the opposite side, madonna.com is the last to know and basically doesn't update any info, or they do it when it's too late and the news is out everywhere.
And now - worse than ever - Live Nation announces the beginning of the London residency TOMORROW when EVERYBODY knows tomorrow is not happening. Ok, it's automatic: well, keep an eye on it.

Don't they realize how unprofessional and disturbing it is?
    Is M aware of that?

Dont shame me guys but this show bored me to tears!  Was front row at the wiltern, Monday, 11/25.
I can share all the reasons but its all subjective right?  You're not going to care for most of my reasons so Ill leave them off BUT one insight I will share - even though I was in a small 1700 seat venue and front row, I felt like Madonna was more distant than ever - she never really made eye contact, she had alot of costuming on her face, wigs, eye patches etc AND she was not always at the edge or front of the stage but further back except the couple time like when she was asking for the polaroid to be purchased and so on.
All her shows in arenas with 15,000 or more people, I remember feeling her connecting way more and for instance making eye contact - I went to reinvention and she kneeled down during papa dont preach and sang to me. For confessions so much eye contact and energy coming at me from her it was wild.  This one was not that type of energy at all.
I know she said she was trying to be closer to her fans by doing theatre shows but after the show I was convinced that was a made up excuse.
