Yeah i remember it's been stated its a song or lyrics she's had since the 90s...there's also My Ejector was allegedly was going to be the b-side to Hollywood and is supposedly very similar musically to the track American Life. There's also Adverse Youth.

Idk if anyone remembers but preorders for the Japanese version of the album had a mysterious track called Trick. This is interesting because obviously it was removed and some claim it was an error. I firmly believe Trick is the leaked track The Game. The AL songs all had weird titles that either were never mentioned in lyrics or mentioned only once like Intervention, X-Static Process, Mother & Father, and Easy Ride. The Game mentions the word "trick" once and it was the first leak from the AL sessions we ever got in 2008. 

So Mirwais did a Q&A on his Instagram Stories and he of course talked about Madonna. The most interesting things:
-His fav Madonna collaboration is American Life (song).
-He would love to do an updated American Life (album). 
-Can’t You See My Mind is different from Die Another Day and it’s NOT a ballad. 
-His fav Madonna production is Die Another Day. 
-It’s true that the first version of X-Static Process was electro. 
-There are some unreleased songs.
-He learned patience from Madonna and she learned patience from him.
-There’s a version of Paradise with Letitia Casta (recorded before Madonna entered the picture) but Madonna changed it and her version is the best version of the song. 
-He would love to work with her again.

Body Shop. Its cute with the intentional lyric cringe on so many car innuendo's but not literally screaming my engine is revving
For candy shop I cant get through the my sugar is raw cheesy cringe for opposite reasons, especially with the repetition on most versions and live.

I wouldn't called them "obscure" since they were performed live.
I'd pick Candy Shop. The thing with this song is 1) the production sucks, it has nothing to do with her style (the whole album); 2) it's too mid-tempo, I would speed it up a bit. 3) the chorus is a banger, whereas the verses suck and don't connect with the chorus at all; 4) the lyrics are cringey. In spite of all this, I prefer this song.
When it comes to Body Shop, I found the production very good, I would say it's quite innovative sonnically. The melody is good, cohesive. But the song fails because her vocals are a girlish put-on that I find irritating very quickly. Yet, it sounds incredibly sincere, honest and tender. Just another of those Madonna's contradictions.

"Body Shop" is beautiful and actually the first time she ventured into some kind of new music territory for her IN YEARS. It's the early prototype of that same delicate nostalgic feel she used again later in "Medellín".
I've come to like "Candy Shop" over the years cause she's made everything she can to make us to, of course. I was even surprised it wasn't included on the last tour!

What’s with all the Bye Bye Baby hate?

For an era that is considered a flop or whatever, it had great singles. Ballads and dance. Gorgeous videos. Great remixes. Looks for days. A great tour. SNL. All of it has aged well... except the writing of the Sex Book (the imagery is great) and Body of Evidence. My only music gripe is "Bye Bye Baby". A lot of fans seem to love it and the house remixes but I never clicked with any of them. I would have gone with "Thief of Hearts" or "Words". You would think that her VMA performance for that era would be notorious but it's mostly forgotten in the grand scheme of her other major moonman moments. 

As a silly American and huge fan of the soundtrack, it always reminded me of Lucy doing a Ricky song. And I don’t mean that in a bad way.

It exists in Spanish and it's one of the first things a little kid say when they hurt themselves.
Even when it comes to Mexican music it keeps that meaning of pain/joy like in the famous "Cielito Lindo' when they say: Ay ay ay ay, Sing and don't cry.

(The unpopular) Cry Baby was inspired by the sound of Baby Esther (Jones) that created the 'boop boop be doop.' and was a star of the scat sound.

I think DSS is a bit overrated as a film. I watched it again recently and I found it boring, slow, silly and utterly dated. Everybody's gonna hate me for this, but I have to say it. 

Evita its a wonderful movie. Madonna was great in it and until this day she is still very proud of it. she did a great job. 
 
you can love or hate Evita the person but she was controversial and polarized as Madonna her whole life. The movie treats the Peronism thing as a light topic because the movie its not about Peronism its about Eva Peron. 
 
Madonna knew she got the role right before the Bedtime Story video premier around the first week of march. So her goodbye for her rebel & unapologetic self was Human Nature video. After june 1995 she started a more agressive plan to soften her image to prepare the public for Evita. That included the Something to remember music project and videos. Interviews; appearances. versace campaign. Magazines, etc. A more elegant Madonna.

I honestly HATE reading people say Evita is a very long music video. It's not only ignorant towards sung through musicals but it's something that the critics said back in 96 and people just keep repeating like parrots til this day. I'm surprised to see fans in this group saying this atrocity.

I disagree. She has a wicked sense of humor.  The problem is; a lot of her humor isn't commercial, so for anyone who is basic, I can see why they don't get it.
