I dunno, but I wish I could turn back time. She was constantly progressing as an artist up until around the time that Hard Candy was released, which is when I felt that she began to decline in terms of innovation and originality. 

I knew someone would post something like this. My original post is bigger than that. I see a woman with determination in both those years you mention. I see someone with a hunger and someone who knew what she was doing. Someone that even if you didn't like her, or even cared for her, you could see she knew what she was doing, had an audience and respected it and "fed" it as well. One was simply more mature than the other. But both were totally in control of their careers. That's not happening in 2019. 
Going from a stable relationship, respecting her audiences, presenting tours that you know people will care, going fully prepared for televised performances in your 40's to going to boy toys 40 years younger than you, changing your body / face, wearing grillz, padding in your ass, making tours 80% with album tracks, half-assed performances like Eurovision, the one she did with Drake, the Billboard awards and making her biggest fans waiting 3 hours for a show isn't evolving. Sounds more like de-volving for me both in terms of confidence in your appearance, in knowledge of your own business, etc. As you age you're supposed to become more confident, wiser, etc...this isn't happening to her, clearly.

Thanks. Some forget it's not just die hards attending this show either but some of the GP so not everyone is going to wait hours for the queen. Waiting during MDNA was brutal both nights with almost two hours of simply waiting there with nothing aside the opening DJ act then another hour and a half of nothing. With Rebel Heart, she started going on time and then reverted back to the late starts. If some don't mind the wait, by all means but the majority don't want to wait hours for a late show and then scramble trying to find their way home etc. I feel a lot of fans would be fine if she simply walked out, waved and then went home because she's the QuEeN!

There's really no excuse that's good enough for the tardiness at this point. It's not like anyone attending the show can just go hang out at a bar until the show starts. And no, not everyone in Paris is sleeping at midnight on a weekend, but let's see how this goes over on a Tuesday or Wednesday. Having sat in 4 of Madame X's audiences, the waiting and the no phone policy do make it feel slightly hostage-like. ?

apparently, warner brothers and madonna were disappointed that COADF only did "well" in the US and therefore wanted to make something more contemporary sounding. thus, hard candy happened and stuart didn't feel it was a sound that suited madonna (and she was already late to hop onto that train). creative disagreements.

Mercy's speech mentioned her "hip". Im wondering if she really has a hip injury, and she's not saying that because it makes her sound old. 
 
But I agree with what everyone has been writing. Especially seeing a MI member traveling from South America to Lisbon only to hear the show is cancelled... really hits home how disrespectful it is. Especially this being a tour that is less venues and requires a lot of people to travel to see her. 

I was SO looking forward to this concert.
I travelled all the way from Brazil to Portugal just to be here tonight, and guess what? Cancelled.
I had a pretty good seat, row D, so close to her.
I'm devastated. Not to say MAD.

Mick Jagger also doesn't have to worry about getting 1000 treatments a year and before every show to try to appear young and sexy.

Cancel the tour, draw a line under the Madame X era, disappear for a year, come back with a Greatest Hits arena tour.

I have absolutely no idea who this guy is so I can not judge him. I have never really been all that enthralled with Madonna's love life. She always seems to think she has to be someone who challenges her or a it seems just a purely physical relationship. Her relationships bore me. 
I never bought into being with someone who challenges you. That gets tiresome really fast. Her two marriages ended with so much bitterness. Challenge you a little on ways to improve yourself but not a complete rejection of the person you are. You have to be somewhat compatable to spend that much time together. 
I also hate her preoccupation with a guy looking a certain way. I understand wanting someone who takes care of themselves but I'm sick of her detailed problems with looks that seem to come from a written criteria. 
The age difference doesn't bother me in relationships if it is a spontaneous thing. If an older person is "only" dating people in thier twenties...that doesn't make any sense and shows a lack of maturity. Sure, I like the cultural aspect of an older woman dating a younger man since we have so many immature men who date younger women. 
It bothers me that she seems to stay away from dating older men because if you are gonna fight ageism you yourself can not be ageist. There are plenty of attractive older men that take good care of themselves. She just doesn't date them. 
I would just like to see her with someone more animated and independent and not just hanging all over her like thier in high school. 

Her experiences with this guys from her entourage always end in one way: bad.
But yes, is nobody's business. She can make another MDNA record after the relationship. 

Just because people aren't dancing doesn't mean they're not enjoying it.  People can enjoy music in different ways.

I actually disagree, it's one of the funnest parts of show! Everyone gets up and dances when this comes on
