Just use the Stock Voice Memo-App on iOS/iPhone. It records in lossless and iPhones usually have the best microphones. đ¤ˇđťââď¸

Chris reacted to Beto in wouldnt it be great if M released stuarts amazing mixes hes done for the celebration
No, they are basically the same versions with two semitones down, I prefer it to have live vocals.

Chris reacted to Adonna in anyone know why theres that stupid black bar at the top of self titled's artwork? its
@PrayerI agree with it being part of the original design. I just thought there were copies without, but maybe I'm mistaking? I looked at my CD and it has the black bar as well. And yeah, I don't believe someone "forgot to crop it out" either. As you said, it's on the inner sleeve as well.

@tscottThe black bar is part of the original design. It's not that someone forgot to crop it out, the designer decided to do it that way - hence the inclusion on the inner sleeve too.

@tscott I was checking Discogs and it was on every edition of the album, even on the cassette:

I kinda have a feeling that the black bar was like a picture border they forgot to crop out.

Yes most versions I've seen have the bar. I'm asking if there are without the bar as I've thought I"ve seen copies without as well. You've pretty much answered my question with the Discog link!Â

OMG I hate the bar too!  It adds absolutely nothing to the design.

Chris reacted to MDRA in When it comes to housing. Do you think location wins over bug infestation or not ?
Yes, getting rid of bugs is a few hundred/thousand quid (if you do it right). Location is priceless in the long run.Â

Chris reacted to MDRA in May I know what's desktop app for Windows can I use to listen for Dolby Atmos files?
I just drag and drop them in Audacity (if it says unrecognised format or something, install ffmpeg) and export them as 5.1 FLACs. But honestly, Popular and Vulgar were not worth the effort, they're about as spacial as the Celebration DVD videos were.

Chris reacted to PlayPause in was COADF originally a rock album??? "Madonna's confessions was originally a rock alb
Yes, it's amazing she looked into it. Of course I Love New York is a relic of this intention.
Some bits of COADF come from demos written for the Luc Besson musical that never was, which reportedly travelled through genres and decades. Rock music was part of it, probably with Bowie in mind of course. And I recall interviews from the Confessions era in which she credited Iggy Pop as an influence.

I think it may be a direction she was dipping her toes into. I Love New York (demo) has the vibe but it seems after her musical projects were cancelled, she turned a lot of the material meant for that into songs that wound up on Confessions.

@Chris still on standby. If we can get through tomorrow without evacuation we might be ok. Rain is forecast for 5 days starting Friday. It's all so nerve wrecking. 200 structures and homes destroyed so far. No casualties thank God

Idk but I believe Depeche Mode and Madonna met before. It was during the Blond Ambition Tour afterparty in Los Angeles when she invited them after the show. But Alan Wilder told the press that they were ignored by her.
