Here's the Vocal Version of Stuart's Thin White Dick Mix by the way. It's pretty rough but it gives you an idea of how great a full vocal version could sound like:

I don’t know why the club mixes of this song got a reputation of being bad. They are absolutely flawless and aged really well.

I’m amazed there’s not been an I house CD with this anywhere. They must have made one during the 2001 or 2007 back ups

Candy Perfume Boy reacted to otcoam in GLOSS | Madonna by Andrew Caulfield book (Borderline photosession) is coming!!!
This is EPIC! So was the photo shoot done on February 9 1984 and the video on February 12 1984? I've seen both dates attached to the Borderline video now. Kind of makes sense that the photos were done prior to the actual video shoot so they could be used as props in the video.

Candy Perfume Boy reacted to DoneGone in "Back That Up" demo going viral on TikTok / official single release 2022/12/30 !
It's old and tiring when the "fan who got lucky" thing has been used since 2015. It's also quite disrespectful. He's been working for her for years now and obviously she likes it. It's her choice. And he deserves credit and respect for getting her attention and still getting covers from her.
It's OK not to like it, of course. And it's OK to say you don't like it. But the personal attacks to Aldo are, in my opinion, unnecessary. He is a graphic designer working for Madonna, even if you hate the result. I don't know what could get more real than designing for her. You don't say a certain co-writer or co-producer is not a musician just because you don't like a song they did with Madonna.
I don't even know Aldo of course and don't LOVE all of his work (quite like his "Finally Enough Love" cover, though and this new one is fun), but the hate towards him is too much.

I'm also going to look this, in the interest of minimizing any drama.
Thanks so much @bertrand for sharing the info! If and when you are ready to crowd source - let us know - lots of interest!

Exactly - No one's trying to show off - and I get it, there are so many who are struggling - and that is really awful - but let's not project that onto others, whether they share, crowd source or not - this is a Madonna forum, Madonna is an expensive bitch - and it's great that these rarities have come up for sale and it's even more lucky that members on this forum have got them and have shared great information about them.

I always was so happy with the few crowdfunding you did.
And I'd be so glad to listen to these 3 tracks. There's no wrong information and people can only be satisfied with it. I have understood that Sky fits heaven was the only kind of interesting track while 2 others are almost same as album version and it's ok for me.
If we are 10, I'm ok for 75€ in case. Even more...!

Got the CD. I'll describe stuff in more detail when the rip is done. Based on a quick skim, DW/SFL and Candy are demo versions of what became the album versions, and Sky Fits Heaven is totally unique, in half-time like the Rick Nowels demo, but re-produced by Orbit.

Drowned World: This is pretty similar to the final album version. The intro (before the vocals start) is stretched out about 15 seconds longer.
Candy Perfume Girl: Quite a few structural differences throughout. It matches the Instrumental version we have (except this has the vocals obviously). From this, the final version had the intro shortened, one break chopped out, and another break filled in with beats, and one "girl/boy" chopped out of the ending.
Sky Fits Heaven: The highlight here, this is completely different from any other version I've heard. 100% Orbit production, without straying too far from Nowell's initial idea.
The tracks overall sound a bit better than the album too, in particular Candy doesn't have the same piercing sibilance that the album has.

Yes they were filmed in full. And the collectors have a full take of both songs with the movie versions that are being traded around

Candy Perfume Boy got a reaction from Would You Like To Try in Shake Your Head - Madonna Vocals HQ Remakes & Originals
Hi,
So we know in 1992 Madonna refused permission to Was (Not Was) to release her unused 1982 vocals on the remix track "Shake Your Head (Lets Go To Bed)", so the remixes by Steve Silk Hurley had to be remade with Kim Basinger vocals. The full 12" remix with Madonna vocals was issued by error on "Now Dance 93" on vinyl and cassette only (these have quite poor sound), and the Madonna Dub was put on the CD "Somewhere in America there's a street named after my dad". The Kim Basinger version was then put out as the 12" remix and also had two official edits; the 3.45 "Single Remix" on the CD of "Now Dance 93", and just to really confuse everyone a different longer 4.00 edit on "Now 23"!!
In the folder there's all the official Madonna and Kim Basinger Versions, plus I removed Kim Basinger off the Now 23 edit and Single Remix to create Madonna and Ozzy versions, plus a solo Madonna Single Version. I also remade the 12" Remix with a CD rip removing Kim's vocals and overdubbing Madonna's vocals from my cassette rip. I'm really pleased with that one, at last it has a more pristine sound instead of crappy analogue rip quality.
So to avoid confusion they're all well labelled!
We have;
1. Single Remix - Madonna only vocals - fanmade
2. Single Remix - Madonna & Ozzy - fanmade
3. Single Remix - Kim & Ozzy - Official CD Rip
4. Dub - Madonna & Ozzy - Official CD Rip
5. 12" Remix - Madonna & Ozzy - Official Cassette Rip
6. 12" Remix - Madonna & Ozzy - Digital remake with CD backing track
7. 12" Remix - Kim & Ozzy - Official CD Rip
8. Now 23 Edit - Madonna & Ozzy - fanmade
9. Now 23 Edit - Kim & Ozzy - Official CD Rip

Candy Perfume Boy got a reaction from Pretender1978 in What's your fave version of Like a Prayer?
You missed the 7'' version which was available with and without fade ending. Essentially all the elements of the album version mixed by Shep and with extra guitars towards the end. Thats the best to my ear, second to that would be the Sticky and Sweet Tour Version
