Hi,
So we know in 1992 Madonna refused permission to Was (Not Was) to release her unused 1982 vocals on the remix track "Shake Your Head (Lets Go To Bed)", so the remixes by Steve Silk Hurley had to be remade with Kim Basinger vocals. The full 12" remix with Madonna vocals was issued by error on "Now Dance 93" on vinyl and cassette only (these have quite poor sound), and the Madonna Dub was put on the CD "Somewhere in America there's a street named after my dad". The Kim Basinger version was then put out as the 12" remix and also had two official edits; the 3.45 "Single Remix" on the CD of "Now Dance 93", and just to really confuse everyone a different longer 4.00 edit on "Now 23"!!
In the folder there's all the official Madonna and Kim Basinger Versions, plus I removed Kim Basinger off the Now 23 edit and Single Remix to create Madonna and Ozzy versions, plus a solo Madonna Single Version. I also remade the 12" Remix with a CD rip removing Kim's vocals and overdubbing Madonna's vocals from my cassette rip. I'm really pleased with that one, at last it has a more pristine sound instead of crappy analogue rip quality. 
So to avoid confusion they're all well labelled!

If someone asked me what the worst Top 10 80's song was, I'd have to say it's a tie between We Built This City and Causing a Commotion. 

they also sound great if you are pigging out. i played them during an overeating binge of pizza and wings.

These remasters sound amazing. Just what I needed on the treadmill today. Hopefully Mike Dean and his team handle all the remastering for the greater reissue project.

Our first mix of D&D on digital services that is not the original album version or the album edit. Hurrah!

I can't see the tracktimes, would someone be so kind too post those here.😭

They seem to forget that the YCD version is NOT the Lucas version, it has never been released apart from that Edit. I don't think it's going to an edit of the full-length, just the one above that was included on the YCD promo.

It was the second single sent out by Warner to USA clubs in 1983  after Everybody - first as a promo 7' on it's own and then later as a double A side with Burning Up - as M curated the album, it likely means more to her than Spotlight etc

The edit is of the unreleased Reggie Lucas production.

That Physical Attraction edit is actually an exclusive edit of the 11-23-1982 Demo, so we are going to get another demo for sale and streaming since that I Love New York rock demo included on the I'm Going to Tell You a Secret Live Album!

Ended up finding the font. Leave to M's team to use a free font found online  To get the font to match, you need to italicize it in Photoshop or whatever app you're using. Link is below:

Do you really think we'll be lucky enough to get a Deluxe edition of You Can Dance?  I'd be thrilled, but I'm not so sure it'll happen.
