lol @ Madonna's Instagram commenting back on people's snark. She should do this as a segment on the show instead of beer bitch "so what are people saying on the internet now, let's have a look" especially with her kidnapping all the cell phones

So many people, so many opinions.
I've seen the feb 1st London show and was fabulous. Nicely executed and totally different from what we've seen her doing in arena's. Her voice was great. The sets are great But could even have been more high tech. She frequently explained Madame X although it would have been nicer with a complete storyline. The less she moves the better she sings. So many high lights and in my opinion a much better tour than het Rebel Heart Tour. The outfits are okay but the that diaper ass I don't understand. Still can't make up my mind if she has had an ass job but she def. has cushion in her clothing. It looks unattractive to me. Hopefully no more facelifts cause it makes her face loof puffy.
Now I've seen it and know what to expect I even look more forward to seeing her twice in Paris.

Fourth time lucky! I think this show is absolutely extraordinary and incomparable to anything she’s ever done. It’s really beautiful, interesting, poignant and clever. My attention didn’t wander at all, was lost in every detail from start to finish. She’s never sounded better and you can hear she is live throughout the whole show - where I was sitting (upper circle) you could hear her live voice clearly in every song (people around commented on her sounding great too). She’s also never been more relaxed, fun and loose in concert. I did think she was careful on her legs and her moves were a bit measured at times but that didn’t take away anything from the performance. I’m super happy and feel very lucky to have been able to see it. It’s probably not for everybody - I couldn’t ask for more personally. We’re not worthy of this woman, truly.
Fun bit - she did say at one point about having recorded Don’t Cry For Me Argentina that maybe she didn’t sound like Patti LuPone but she definitely sounded like Madonna Veronica Louise Ciccone.

M: 'Fuck them. I'll cut the start of my fucking show. Let's start at Vogue'

I much prefer to go to gigs on my own. Do everything at my own pace and not have to screech at someone to be heard during the show. I hate people who talk through gigs.

There's something about a live performance that can't be duplicated with television, video, or DVD.  There's love in the air, a connection of the artists with those in the audience.  There's also the atmosphere or aura that you only feel if your are there surrounded by the event.
I hope so much you get to see Madame X.  I was very lucky my show was not cancelled.  The three previous shows were cancelled.  But if my show had been cancelled I would have been grateful that Madonna was taking care of herself instead of risking further injury.  And I would have cried knowing the pain she must be going through, because she does not cancel a show unless there is no choice.  Madonna is in a very tough situation right now.  I hope fans think more about her   than they think about themselves.

What do you think about THE RAVE REVIEWS the show is getting from the British press?

Yup and you can clearly hear it on the audio recordings. This conversation however, which seems to come back everytime she hits the road is just so dull. If someone can't allow themselves to enjoy a show because there's a backing track here and there then I suppose it's their prerogative. But it's bewildering in case of Madonna especially, since backing tracks were used on her live shows as far back as The Virgin Tour. That's 35 years folks, time to let that one go. I also don't know how much of it stems from a genuine love of live music and how much is a form of internalised Madonnaphobia - trying to find flaws and things to criticise her for before the general public or press does it for us. I saw Dolly Parton a few years back and even she lipped half of her show (and I mean lipped, not just sang over a backing track). It still was great and she's still a fucking legend. Who cares? Yawn.

Let's be clear, everyone does it these days. Even P!NK, Cher, Taylor, everyone. No one actually ever does a complete live show.

As for her pre-recorded track, it's very quiet and she sings very loudly on top of it. In my show she fucked up the words to Crazy all the way through and it was clear every time. During Batuka she made a mistake while dancing and she stopped singing and laughed instead. It is live for the vast majority of it.

She doesn't use it as a prop, seriously people? She plays the song, but it's incredibly simple and repetitive notes. I think we will see more piano in the next tour, she just needs to keep practising
