Also Taylor feels like a has been already. Like she can't replicate 1989 whatsoever where she gets a ton of hit songs from an album. She just sells albums pretty much and the songs are forgotten by the next album

Jezus f*ing Christ, the level of hate and denial here is something.

  2. They're both very clever hard-working artists/businesswomen running their careers at different times in terms of popularity peak, context, media, etc. To fully grasp if Taylor surpasses M in any way, we'd rather wait a couple more decades, in fact. This doesn't mean her actual success isn't real at all. The figures are astounding. The money she makes and the influence she has within the industry are already huge. The cultural impact has to have more longevity in order to become a staple.

Because I’d imagine getting that show on a major streamer could possibly generate a good amount of interest from general public viewers and casual fans, which is definitely a good thing. Especially considering what a big deal that show was. I’d hope they’d give it a nice, cleaner re-edit but overall I don’t think it’s that bad.

A proper tour film is nice and all for fans but it’ll likely primarily be watched by just fans. Especially if it does end up on some flop service like Epix. That’s sort of embarrassing when gaga and taylor can get theirs on disney+ or max.

It'l probably end up with a BAT situation: one tour movie featuring behind the scenes shots and glances from different countries (costume changes, ball guests...) and the more regular TV broadcast from Rio, slightly re-edited for better transitions.

And one that isn't a travel ad for rio

Sure, Rio is very nice but hush, don't show the beach. You know, like the Paris Olympics featured too much of the Eiffel tour and it drove viewers away.

When your venue is Copacabana filled with 1.5 million people, of course you'll flaunt it.

that couple violently making out to In This Life 🙄

and that too, we all agree that M's fanbase is 100% virgin & prude material no touching no pda.

Frozen" Sickick release and "Back That Up To The Beat"

    were HER projects.

    Not this movie.

Don't try and argue with me. It's not a question of "minimum" but (again) "momentum": the hype is with the movie so her savvy management and herself would rather reap those new listeners than hammer anything for herself yet.

She's not here to push one of her biggest songs and she doesn't have anything to prove like "yey, I'm in a Marvel movie". The question is: how many people from the audience will give a listen on Spotify? It's not about her Instagram.

She'll probably post something about it when it reaches some threshold aka "maximum".

It's amazing how literally EVERYONE is involved in this except for her.

Not even a single story on Instagram, nothing.

    Trolldona at her best!

Have you seen anything from Kate Bush socials while Stranger Things was making a hit out of Running Up That Hill? No. She said yes to the music supervisor 1 or 2 years prior and then she did nothing but cash in and finally did interviews where she said it was unexpected (lol) and nice to have new listeners.

The thing with these reissues/remixes/syncs is that they are NOT aimed at the regular fanbase. Posting a story on M's IG would do nothing for streams, it would just be more views for IG. And neither M or WB care for that.

So they're letting the momentum flow with whoever has an appeal to the targeted audiences, aka Marvel fans and pop culture enthusiasts.

So yes, someone will be performing LAP at D23 and TikTok will be full of LAP dance challenges because that's how you handle such a release in 2024.

    Thank you.
