Exactly. We’ve even seen Madonna arguing with Karens on social media. There’s no such thing as “professional” anymore. All that matters to Rhino is engagement and getting people talking.

Chopped up, newly made by in-house people and not the original remixers/editors is not my idea of enjoyable, but everyone has different tastes.
Personally, I don’t want newly edited mixes by people who didn’t originally work on the remixes. They are awful, like that ‘Alternate Single Remix’ of ‘Keep it Together’ that they led people to believe was from 1990 and was just created in 2022 by some person that works at Warner now. 🥴

I know some are just joking, but if it's on the level of American Life Mix Show, that was a superb release.  I actually prefer these sorta curated releases than the usual re-issues with nothing really new.

I am just relieved it's not another silver vinyl with nothing extra on it - at least it's sounding like finally an 'expanded' edition (albeit without the album).

I'm a believer it is Madonna, I can't see why a book would lie about it - it's not like the inclusion or not inclusion of the image is gonna make or break its success.

It was clearly intentional - In my opinion, at that time they were considering what to do - and I think a reissue of the felt digipack was a serious consideration - but have thankfully now 'riffled through the old vault'.

Same nose, lips, jaw structure etc.

It is her, from late 1979. She used to go clubbing even in Michigan, so she was not new to the club scene and Danceteria was THE spot when she got to New York.
