That whole scene was very awkward.  Like you said, she just worded it bad and so she went into a nervous laughter.  Shows she's human like the rest of us.
The thing that surprised me is that she nor Jimmy made any mention of the Beyonce' collab or 'Material Gworlll'.

Madonna has always been very risky, adventurous and polarizing with fashion.  Exactly how she is in real life. The only era I have seen her dress more elegant for a long peroid of time was with Evita and promoting WE.   She ahs been out there her whole career and if we had social media back then would have been smashed for many choices
When she mentioned he was dead.  She was laughing at herself cause it came out bad. She put a tribute up to Mark kamis when he passed.  it was one of those moments we all have when we say something and it just out the wrong way and we laugh.  We have all been there

Love the 2 of them together, ever since their first time for MDNA promotion.
The "dead" joke was something she spontaneously used a few years back at the Graham Norton show in the UK, when he asked her where is the young girl that was on the photo with young madonna now (the girl won the singing competition and madonna lost), and M replied "she's dead now". To which Norton replied "Ooh, a mysterious playground accident".
That time the joke really was hilarious and everyone was cracking up,  but now.. meh. I guess she thought it was going to work well the second time as well but it was manufactured and not spontaneous

Loved the interview, card game and the Classroom Instrument song.  "MUSIC!!"  Nothing else matters!  I love how she keeps up the flirtatious nature.  Jimmy just eats it up and loves to play along!

Hmmm yes but she is one of eight kids. Traditions and cultures pass down through your parents and your wider family. I don’t need to be in Ireland to know I’m Irish. You get told soon enough by other indigenous kids in the neighbourhood who you are before you know. I was raised in the UK with Irish grandparents both sides and an Irish father and English mother who had lived in Ireland as a child. To the world we present as English but any family parties, sayings and values and family structures are propa Irish.
I don’t think I need to know the lyrics to Wild Rover or the backstreets of Dublin to be a son of Ireland. It’s not quite as clear cut hey xx

This shit sounds good. If it doesn't get uploaded to streaming it will be a big loss for Madonna, so I'm sure her team will do everything to sway Beyoncé team.

Glindathegood reacted to Loki in Madonna : "I want to go back on tour" - Will she? Can she?
At first glance, I'd reply 'why not'. I can't hide I'm quite intrigued and pleasantly surprised to a certain degree by this statement and it makes totally sense in the view of self-reflection moment she's going through right now, with the movie about her life, for which a tour centered on her past would be the most natural completation, and the reissues/expanded versions of her back catalogue. Given the ambiguity she's showed towards her monster hits, from total insufference to a certain interest in revisiting them which still quickly ends up to bore her, I'd bet it wouldn't be a standard GH tour with all bells and whistles, but more a show that portrays her life as she sees it through her songs, where not necessarily Like a Virgin would find its place in the sun. In my opinion, the most logic choice would be dusting off the Tears of A Clown format and polishing it a bit: it would be a phenomenal one woman show, very Dietrich-esque, with a retró taste, where musical sections are mixed up with her interacting with crowd. If I'm allowed to dream, I'd kill for a show made up with deep cuts only (Bad Girl and The Look of Love better be there and none will get hurt), rearranged in a jazzy/blues style and organized in different acts, with her singing sat on a second-hand chair, lightened by a single spotlight and wrapped in a cloud of smoke: something similar to the 1993 SNL performance. Everything completed by a live band and, if she wants, a dance troupe to give flesh and bones to her words, with choreographies inspired to Anita Berber's works (funny to say, but Madonna globally seems stepping out from 20s Berlin, so referencing to that period in one of her last tournée would be like closing a circle). With the courtesy by Stuart Price for the musical direction and David Fincher for broadcasting. I wish she could fix the things with Christopher and gave him the creative director duty. I miss his print on her performances :(
OK, bye. This would be my idea of heaven: no fucking backup dancers, no screens, almost no lights, just her, her voice, a microphone and her dry dark humor.
Jokes and dreams apart, a show where she acts like the narrating voice and leaves the spotlights to her voice, her story, herself is the only feasible thing that comes to my mind, since I'm sure she'd rather have a finger cut than be carried on the stage like a potato sack by her dancers or lighten up her choreos because she can't dance like she used to anymore and above all I refuse to think she'd be so ingenuous to put her body at risk for the sake of dancing at all costs, especially since we're speaking of a tournée (40/50 dates at least and 2/3 continents) and not a one night-event. What is sure is that whatever she wants to do, it won't be easy, both vocally and physically, and it will require an extra dose of patience and time to be settled.

The Kylie style would be the best route for Madonna... There is still a high level of production, effects, stage design, costumes, dancers and everything, but the dancing is limited to some elegant simple moves, and there is more emphasis given to live vocals. I've never felt that Kylie's shows lacked anything because she didn't do any spectacular dance moves, the live vocals more than made up for it.

Good Lord she can easily tour. She’s just getting back to good health again after an awful two years.
    She’s Madonna.
The most fun parts of the rebel heart tour were when she was engaging with the audience rather than  concentrating on listening to choreo from her earpiece.
Body Shop / True Blue / Deeper & Deeper level of dancing is well within her wheelhouse. I don’t need her upside down on a cross jumping from bungees. She needs an old Hollywood style choreographer and stage designer where she is the centrepiece and the set and works move around her.

I have never understood the obsession with such a giant production behind her shows in the first place, there is a fine line between visually stunning and so overbearing that it drowns out any authenticity. Imagine a setlist that taps into a mixture of deep cuts and hits that way everyone is pleased. Also, I said it before but an acoustic section of the show would be so amazing.

Yes, I think she should find someone who has the time to more closely focus on her career and guide her. Don’t most artists at Madonna’s superstar level have managers who primarily focus on them?
I personally think it’s great that she takes an interest in trying to understand how younger people interact with technology instead of just throwing her hands up and saying I’m too old to understand as a lot of older artists do.

Madame X had some of her catchiest pop songs in years such as Crave and Crazy.
Some of it was more avant garde but not all of it was.
