Whatever, but, please,  we need to move from that awful era: Didn´t liked that album, that wig, that grillz, that autotune, that covid nightmare, and also my father died when M released that album. Ok, it´s not just the album, but I want to move on to another era with Madonna inspiring me and I don´t need another ROL but just new killer music as she used to do with a beautiful image, please.

It´s amazing how her voice changes from album to album, I mean, in Bedtime stories she had this whispering but polished, warm voice, so different to Like a prayer, Like a virgin or even Erotica, where she is robotic for the most part of it, and for You´ll see one year later she was in full throated voice, singing the hell out of a big ballad doing an amazing job, and then singing Evita with a perfect broadway belter voice. It´s insane!

Forbidden love is soooo HOT and sexy..so are secret, survival or I´d rather be your lover..so warm and cool after a cold and raw album like Erotica.

Seeing that pictura of the 2015 concert I became a bit sad, cause not so long ago she was still that person I admired so much. As she changes so much from era to era, maybe it´s just the Madame x era is just not for me, despite some highlights as the song I rise which I really like, but even with the problems that the Rebel Heart era had, I still loved many songs on that album, she looked gorgeus, did an amazing tour, did that tears of a clown that I quite liked,  released a live dvd, had great energy and did beautiful and positive things, videos, interviews..I just can´t recognise her today, I don´t see the mature, work focused, athletic woman with high stamina, I don´t know what has happened since 2016 till today. But If it´s just the era, who knows if a forthcoming era will more shining again. Maybe it´s just the whole world is worse, I don´t know. Sorry, I don´t want to depress you, but sincerely, this is how I´m feeling right now.

Ok, crucial on her carreer and on her becoming the legend she is, she sacrificed a bit on commerciality in order to become more serious and organic as an artist, and she achieved it. Like a prayer or Express yourself are icons on their own, cherish is lovely as Dear jessie is. I like a lot keep it together and I ´m always very emotional with Oh Father and promise to try. Till death do us part is a bit like Erotica would be a few years later. And act of contriction is a very clever and fun and aristic way of ending an album like this. 
 
But let´s be real: she sings out of key on some of the tracks and other songs could have been better: Love song anybody? Spanish eyes?
A great album, but not her very best. I did not lived that era with her as i was a kid, and I know what it means for her and her carreer, but I think this is one of the albums that you play out of context and you say: overated? 
 
PD: I love that demo about the dirty angels..it´s strange but I like her vocals a lot.

I must add that her vocal work on this was very important: she sounds deeper but yet very sweet and girlie, a important side of her becoming the pop icon she was.
Also the Patrick Leonard magic changed her forever, without him we would not have Madonna in our lifes as we have her.
I always liked the lyrics of White heat, really about being brave and strong and about having the control of your path, a quinteessentisl madonna stament that I love.

I fully agree with every single word. This record marks a fundamental step in her career. Iconic singles and videos. Weak songs: JJ and LMTWGR. Highlight: Live to tell, to date one of her best ballads.

Perfect one and an essential step on her carreer, but of course later works showed much more sides of her. But as for 1986, what she had to do and she did it perfectly. What a carreer this woman has had, lately sometimes I forgot it because of the Madame x era mess.

Oks, the thing is: I did not liked Madame x really, I think she can look very nice for her age, but I don´t know if it´s the filters or what, sometimes I get horrified with her pictures, starting with the marilyn monroe ones. Amazing performances, mmm the last two things she did this year were not very good for me not vocally nor visually, nor musically but I like that some of you enjoy them. About her music, I think she is very able to do good one if she wants. I can tell you I adore MDNA and quite like some of the song on Rebel Heart and Hard Candy, despite these albums being brutalized by some fans here and out constantly. I actually don´t adore Confessions so much as fans here, although ok, I agree the tour was perfect and amazing and the era was great.

She was also doing amazing records, taking voice lessons, amazing dancing, and doing amazing interviews and looked like herself. That´s the difference.

If she releases a standout song everything would be different, for sure. And well sung, of course. She used to be terrific with the vocals, now she does not care.
