With the 40th Anniversary of Madonna's debut album approaching us this month (Originally Released on July 27th, 1983), I thought it would be fun to poll people to see what their most favorite song is from her first album.  I can't say I'm sure how Madonna and her team are going to celebrate the 40th Anniversary?  Maybe a new Holographic album sleeve or slip mat?  LOL!  I'm still hoping for a expansive re-issue as described by the Warner deal in 2021.  If not, it will be a very lost opportunity.  Anyway, feel free to add your thoughts on this album and the song you chose.  Love to hear your thoughts.  I've added the 2001 Remastered Album (via Youtube) above for you to enjoy while you choose and discuss your favorites!

Well, after the initial shock, I was reading again the statement of Guy Oseary, and if they are talking about rescheduling etc, it's because she's ok after all. If not, I would like to think that they would be more respectful and not even talking about tour dates.

I've been reading this thread from the start and Jeez! How can gay men, who suffer from a lot of oppression themselves, mock a member of our community so willingly? You may not agree to the idea of "gender neutral" in politics or in language, although I don't see a proper "thing" for anyone to "agree to" or not for it is the reality, it's as if you don't agree with trees - that doesn't make sense. 
But anyway, you may not think it is a "morally acceptable" thing according to your morals, but that would make anyone who's gay, bi or anything in between a huge hypocrite. Christians say the same things about us and we've been fighting them. It's about time we embrace these new forms of living life. Sam is not my favorite singer either, but I truly, truly wish them a life of accomplishments, simple because I wish that to me too. 
You may have also a hard time with all the claims, names, identities and pronouns, but you'd do a big favor to all of us by not making fun of it. It's time to be an ally or a hater. Which side are you on?

I hate when a fan tells how Madonna should behave, dress, feel, act or what her songs and lyrics should be like. They seem more like a bad husband than a fan. If you like what Madonna does, great. If not, go listen to other artists.

I was worried that this track wouldn't be enough of an appetizer for me to last till the Vulgar release. But I was wrong, it is cool and very summery with those fresh vocals and chill urban beats. A definite addition to my summer playlists.

She broke her tie with U2and Eminem to become the second act with the most chart-topping albums in Australia, behind the Beatles and Jimmy Barnes, each having 14 number ones. Madonna also became the first ever woman to have a number-one album in five different decades in Australia.
In the United Kingdom, the album entered the UK Albums Chart at number three, with sales of 14,132 units. It became Madonna's 23rd top-ten entry on the chart  According to the Official Charts Company, the compilation had sold 46,653 copies in the UK, as of January 2023.On March 17, 2023, the British Phonographic Industry (BPI) certified the album Silver, for combined sales and album-equivalent units of over 60,000 units in the United Kingdom. The album also debuted at number two in a number of European countries, including France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Spain, and Switzerland, while topping the charts in Belgium, the Netherlands, and Portugal, as well as the Croatian International album chart. In France, Finally Enough Love debuted with album-equivalent units of 6,400; of those sales, physical units covered the 92%.

To be fair, that was always the cover for the remixes releases all over the world - with the blue variation on some CDs in Europe and Australia. The "gun" cover was always the 2-track CD single one.

Looks like track 1 is the clean radio edit so another reason to celebrate, it wasn't on digital before as far as I know (except for that odd single release in some countries).

I've been wanting to do this for a while and I'm very happy with the final result.
It incorporates what I learned creating my Confessions box set in 3D, and gives my old art a bit more life. (2020 really doesn't feel like it was 3 years ago.)
A few things have been improved (some of the before/after moments are shocking!) but overall it should be what you know from the original version.
