At this time, which Madonna album is your least Favorite and/or least played? It doesn't mean you necessarily hate it (or maybe you do?). It's just your least favorite from her Albums.
    Mine is.....  HARD CANDY!!
My first forewarning was it's COVER. I've never liked the background and text. It kind cheapens the whole look of it. But, I love the songs Miles Away and Devil Wouldn't Recognize You the most!!
Ok, so what do you think?

I see a lot of M, in Paula, especially when she smiles. I think she sounds a little like her at the end of her words, too.

No offence but I don't think Lady Gaga innovated anything.  The electro-dance pop sound was already trending by the time she released The Fame (just the previous year we had Rihanna's Don't Stop The Music and Disturbia, Kylie Minogue's X album, Flo Rida's Low, Hilary Duff's Dignity album, M.I.A.'s Paper Planes.  Rihanna's SOS was already 3 years old by then.  The Dr. Luke/Max Martin/Bloodshy & Avant electro/rock/pop/hip hop sound was already in full swing after Kelly Clarkson's Since U Been Gone, Avril Lavigne's Girlfriend, The Veronicas 4Ever, Britney's Blackout and Circus albums.  The tropical pop vibes of Eh Eh Nothing Else I Can Say had Kevin Lyttle's Turn Me On and Paris Hilton's Stars Are Blind as a blueprint.  Musically, The Fame gave us nothing that hadn't come out before, just now with performance art lifted from David Bowie, Freddie Mercury, Elton John, and modern pop-art artists.
Or if we want to talk about how Alejandro's reggae pop was a callback to Ace of Base, Born This Way was Express Yourself 2.0, The Fashion of His Love was I Wanna Dance With Somebody 2011, You & I was a Shania Twain song + the step step clap of We Will Rock You... I can keep going.

I don't see the problem in talking about her ass I mean it's her too. Anyway I just wanted to say one last thing about it & then I'm over it again. My theory is that her bacterial infection or whatever it was that put her into the hospital stemmed from the BBL or implants & she had MOST of it removed. Obviously she left some there but it is NOTHING like what it was when she first debuted the "look" @ Stonewall! I've NEVER judged M for any look (Grammy's "Jigsaw", Madame X misses, VMA's w Camilla Cabello) I realize that all of that can easily be taken off & isn't a part of her permanent body which makes it fine. Of course I don't like any of the above mentioned looks AT ALL & could probably think of a few more but when I saw the ass implants I literally could not believe it! M has always had the best figure in my opinion & that is something I always admired about her - her commitment to stay in the best shape & not smoke or be addicted to drugs, alcohol what have you. When I saw the BBL it made me very sad because I suddenly saw that M must not have been happy with herself for whatever reason & for someone who has always been so strongly vocal about loving yourself etc.. it just made me sad. But then I started to think about what the pressure must be like as the world's #1 most famous woman/pop ICON to stay looking the same & I can't imagine that. I am sure that would fuck up & fuck with even the strongest people. I mean look at Britney :( It's hard to age & really is a struggle that some can handle better than others. I'm just glad the BBL is gone or at least reduced it was the worst thing she's ever done in my opinion. Just wanted to say that. I LOVE seeing her healthy again & able to move around without looking like her ass is all disproportioned or about to pop! It's def not a look for her! She is so tiny & small she looks best with a fit dancers body. I knew back in the I'm Going To Tell You A Secret days when she started talking about her "fat thighs" that she has to have some sort of body dismorphia issues whether small or big cause it's like girl for real are you serious right now? There is nothing "fat" about you I'm sorry! Fat is easy to see. Rant over LOL!

Everything about Taylor's success is 100% artificial and inorganic.
    1. She grew up in a very wealthy household and had absolutely everything handed to her.
    2. She is and has always been extremely privileged. She was signed to a relatively small record label that was bought by her dad who had a major impact in shaping her career. She was essentially their only priority and pretty much all the promotion money went into her. She started out as a country singer with the intention of going into pop knowing that the best way to do it was to get the audience that rejected pop music and thought it was the music of the devil on her side (white midwest Christians). I knew a lot of girls and teens at that time who weren't allowed to listen to any pop music but were rather allowed to listen to Taylor because she was country and therefore obviously a Christian (and thought to be a Republican).
    3. Once she went into pop she already had the bunch of snobbish, racist and sexist old white men that make up the majority of the voting panels in the music industry (Grammys, AMA, etc.) on her side. They would rather vote for someone with a country background over someone who is RnB or pop. It has been confirmed that she's considered the "lesser evil" for them.
    4. This woman NEVER had to actually fight or battle the industry she tried to set foot in, she never had to experience the amount of sexism and scrutiny that Madonna had to suffer. In addition to that, she employed Kpop marketing to the marketing of her music. It's extremely exploitative and she encourages her fan's obsessive behavior and low-key manipulates them into working for her over-time. It's mind-control essentially.
    5. She has been extremely local for the majority of her career. Her only other big global era was 1989 because of Shake It Off and Blank Space. Other than that, she's more known for the hype around her as a celebrity. If Americans say it's hip and cool to be a fan of her, girls abroad will follow them. It's the TikTok effect. For example: TikTok has also decided that Mariah Carey is cool and her shade is "funny", whereas Madonna is considered and ugly, bitter and talentless old hag. This app has got to GO.
    6. She is incredibly narcissistic, egocentric and obsessive. Every time another artist was about to drop a new album or a single that could pose a threat to her chart position, she released another pointless collectible or variant of her album to block them. She deserves absolutely no praise or hype for the amount of mediocrity that she embodies.
The recipe of her success is this:
    - Political neutrality for a long time throughout her career. Thus, garnering the support of most media outlets and not pissing off 50% of the American population. She avoids controversy as much as she can, her PR team is known to also bribe and sue certain media outlets, critics and reviewers if they write something negative about her.
    - Constantly painting herself as a victim to stir up her fans against her personal enemies and ex-boyfriends. Her music also contains a lot of songs with her playing the victim. Her fans seem to identify a lot with that.
    - Easily digestible and mostly inoffensive music that is supposed to be deep but is essentially just a blatant rip-off of Lana Del Rey's style of writing.
    - Targeting straight teen girls in particular who usually don't listen to a lot of gay-coded artists and sway more towards male artists. They make up the majority of her fanbase. The gays appear more divided on her overall. Women are her target audience. That is not the case for artists like Madonna or Lady Gaga.
    - Shady tactics to increase her sales and streaming numbers.

    Is anyone interviewing Taylor Swift?

If her beginning was 2009 then she’s 15 years in?
She’s in Madonna’s Ray Of Light era. Same with Gaga.
Going by age she’s about to start Bedtime Stories.

Does she have a MUSIC, American Life, Confessions era to go? I guess we’ll see.

No class what so ever. To those that think he's funny, you should feel ashamed. I know I'm a few of the women in this forum and I'm sorry that I don't think making fun of a woman's body parts is the beat all. Just think of how you'd feel. But, hey, go on if you want as it's a true reflection of who you are and how you shamed and ruined this thread.
