Beautiful Killer or I F-d Up

Oh I love the early extended mixes.  It's before true remixes came out and it just seem like a longer version of the song back them.  I love PDP, but I would have to say OPY extended mix is my most favorite.

    Beautiful Killer (great song)

Devil wouldn't recognise you OR Beat Goes on for 4th single ?

Devil.. I always thought it should have been a single and I think it could have been a big song if Warner was willing to push it, but they gave up pushing the singles once GI2M was released.

I love this Teletubbies hug!

Besides the show, "Confessions on a promo tour" is so good, right? I love to watch her getting ready with a band and dancers and also sharing her thoughts about award shows and preparation for live performances.

I agree.  She did so many promo performances for that album. I enjoyed them all and all the awards performances.  She was on fire!!  :fire: ( @Voguerista favorite word).  :kiss2:

LIVE EARTH (but I have no issues with LIVE 8.  Both were superior performances.  We just got a new song out of Live8):luv:

Tough question. Last week I was listening to Rebel Heart after a long time and I realize how interesting this album is sonically. It's a great album to hear with a good earphone. I love MX, but Rebel Heart is growing more and more on me.

Rebel Heart is a great album.  So many bangers, etc.  I love the smorgasbord it became.  In a way, I feel she still got her way in releasing a double album, but it wasn't as organized as she preferred.

Addicted , should've been on the main RH album in-between the mid tempo ballad types adore it so much

I love that song so much and agree. I thought it could have made a great single.   Though unlike you, I'm not a big fan of MDNA's I'm Addicted, but it's grown on me.

These was a incredible moment for her. She sung amazing, looked amazing, was a huge hit everywhere, and recovered from that american life flop. After that she had one of her biggest success ever with COADF. She was mid 40s but in an amazing moment, she was such an inspiration. I remember one interview after the tour saying that last tour was the biggest thing ever on her carreer. That big was that tour, of course all the subsquent tours were amazing and very succesful too. Such a succesful icon she has always been.

I know what you mean.  After RIT, I was like "how is she going to top this?" and here comes COADF and then the Confessions Tour.   Can't wait to see what else she has in store for us.  We know she isn't finished.

    That might be the case.

Maybe we are getting unknnown demos worked with the final producers rather than the Shep sessione, even though to me they are the most sought after works I'd like to hear!

Yeah, I'm doubting anything from Shep sessions since she abandoned that direction to go more R&B.  I suspect the majority of it will just be remixes of the major singles from the album.  I don't consider "Freedom", "Your Honesty", and "Let Down Your Guard" as unreleased, being "Your Honesty" and "Let Down Your Guard" were released on a single and EP.  And while "Freedom" was released on a Madonna album/ep/single, it still was released.  Anyway, you never know what they'll consider "unlreleased".

I don't think there was ever a mention of the ILNY track version on this tracklist . The "(demo)" brackets on Wikipedia or some other sites are not the official listing. This mix doesn't have a title different than the regular COADF version.

You're right.  After I posted, I looked at the track listings on my CD and didn't see it listed as "demo".  To me, it seems like it was implied as a demo being it was created on tour and it's not as polished as COADF version.  But I think most of us fans differentiate it as the "Rock version" as well. :)

Really   it also seems legit because of them right? Maybe done with the stems as I think it's hard to believe that the instrumental was that poor but still nice to have some legit new vocals at least, thanks a lot!!

Yeah, I never know anymore. It's probably made from stems, but it's still cool to hear her ad -libbing ike that.  :)

Yes, there was no getting away from her in 1985! She had eight singles in the charts...

    • Like A Virgin (peaked at #3 on 06 Jan 1985)
    • Material Girl (March, #3)
    • Crazy For You (June, #2)
    • Into The Groove (July, #1)
    • Holiday [re-issue] (Aug, #2)
    • Angel (Sept, #5)
    • Gambler (Oct, #4)
    • Dress You Up (Dec, #5)

It's strange that Warner Bros gave the greenlight to saturated the UK market with singles from several projects (Like A Virgin, The First Album, and movie soundtrack singles), but they took a different approach in the US denying single releases for Into The Groove and Gambler due to not wanting to detract from the Like A Virgin singles campaign.

Yeah, there was a trade off with Warners in the U.S. where they refused to fund a video for Angel, since Into The Groove was doing so well.  They realized she could be over saturating the market.  I think at this point it was too late.  lol. 1985 was such a great time to be alive when being a fan.  Madonnamania was through the roof.  Though, I know it was a bit different in UK regarding her success because her first #1 hit was Into The Groove while in the U.S. she already scored number ones with Like A Virgin and Crazy For You.
