Swedish DJ Avicii, real name Tim Bergling, died at age 28 on Friday, April 20, his publicist confirmed. 

"It is with profound sorrow that we announce the loss of Tim Bergling, also known as Avicii," his publicist Diana Baron said in a statement. "He was found dead in Muscat, Oman this Friday afternoon local time, April 20th. The family is devastated and we ask everyone to please respect their need for privacy in this difficult time. No further statements will be given."

How sad! Only 28 and already gone.  So young.  What a waste of talent.  I'm curious what actually caused his death? I know he was ill for a number of years and drop out of the RH sessions after awhile.  He also battle alcoholism which attributed to all his health issues.  I did enjoy a lot of his music. "Rebel Heart" the song is one of my favs in all incarnations.

Very sad... I remember giving in and listening to the Rebel Heart song when it first leaked... I was working in a tiny hole in the wall espresso shop. I went out to have a smoke and first heard it. And I was living for it. It made me so excited for the RH era. May he rest peacefully that talented soul.

I know it is impossibile, but Interscope should release an EP with all his remixes of the Rebel Heart tracks. In many cases these demos are better than the finished versions. It would save his legacy forever in his work with Madonna.
