What happens to the stages when tours are over?

Are stages literally thrown in the garbage or are they disassembled and have their parts reused in other artists' tours? Same question for stage props, wardrobe, etc. What happens to all these when a Madonna tour is over, do you know?

Someone once told me that the Confessions Tour stage had parts reused in Ricky Martin's Black and White Tour, such as the LED center screen (the cylindrical one), as well as the treadmills from Re-Invention Tour stage. Have you ever heard anything about this?

For me the stage from Confessions tour, it was like Spice Girls used for "The return of the Spice Girls", especially the catwalk and the ministage and the end.

i thought Gaga used the S&S stage for one of the dates of her BTW tour in South America in 2012. For others she used the MDNA stage that Madonna wasn't using at that time because she was playing arenas I think.

 

The MDNA stage was also used for other shows, even though it was specifically designed for that tour.

 

The MDNA stage was cutting edge so im not surprised it was reused, I think it was much safer to set up, which was a concern after the S&S incidents.

Lady Gaga didn't use the MDNA Tour stage nor part of it. She only used the roof in one or two concerts and it was because they crossed paths in some city that I don't remember and it was the because the promoter wanted to save money.

 

Sometimes they get recycled for another tour (at least some elements) or they are sold by pieces for another artists.
