At 0:09 you hear the mic opening, then the tongue click and then her breathing in. The mic thing also happens again before the second verse.

I've been thinking about it .. what if it was supposed to sound like a needle touching a disc? It reminds me of that sound for some reason.

What the....?? What a shit post from NY Magazine that was! What is wrong with people?! They don't know what they're talking about - this is Madonna's best video in years and years and they just want to put it/her down for it.... what a sad world. :suffer:

Maybe it was all too much, too much for a few men/women to take........

We're gonna stay strong, we're gonna hold on!

i know the noise is in other songs, the thing that used to bother me about that on ghosttown is that it's too obvious when it starts

Remember most of the American Life songs? Mirwais chopped her voice multiple times and that's why I felt that record lacked naturalness... but it was a good record anyway.

LFL and Ghosttown videos are good.

I can't say I am amazed by these videos. They aren't on the level of creative and artistic videos, that she used to make before the series of shitty videos.

GMAYL, GGW, LFL and Ghosttown are her best videos since Hollywood.

Speaking of Ghosttown, I don't like the theme. It is too literal. Anyway, I wish the film photography was better and less basic. Akerlund used to be good with different angles, lights, effects...

Don't get me wrong, I am not bitching and I am thankful she is interested in music videos again, but the scenes could have been more dramatic, cinematic, stylized... The film photography looks like many videos out there and  reminds me of those blockbuster films.

Waiting on some decent quality remixes for this single. I love Ghosttown a lot more than Living For Love. There's some good elements in the Ghosttown remixes she released so far but the production is severely lacking.

I got $100 with Madonna's name on it. I wanna spend it! But there's nothing to buy.
