Recently I had a dream where Madonna performed Candy Shop on her new tour. It was a reinvented and very different version that vowed everybody.

 

I find this extremely hilarious now that we know it happened. 

But yeah, Candy Shop wins in my book. It was a song that hooked me before I knew who sang it. Hard Candy in general made me super gay in high school.

The reason tour versions are often better than album versions is because she takes her damn time with the tour, allowing the song to blossom and get fleshed out. She rushes too much in the studio.

 

Ray of Light is a masterpiece because she took her time.
