"Rolling Stone reports that Fellows and Alvarez voluntarily dismissed their case against the singer. Jeff Warshafsky, the attorney representing Madonna and Live Nation, stated that the dismissal “was not the result of any settlement” between the two parties. Fellows and Alvarez also dropped their case with prejudice, meaning it can’t be tried again."

I'm sure they finally figured that they had no case and they weren't getting anywhere with it.  Meanwhile, I have to laugh that they probably lost money when seeking any legal consultation or representation.

From what I read it sounds like her lawyers might try to hold them responsible  for Madonna’s legal fees (easily the price of a house in some parts of the US) which should snuff out any bs suits like this again.

The thing is, it's such an overreaction. Yes, they shouldn't sue someone for a late concert and get a life. Yes, she should start on time, every other major artist can and so can she.

Meaning - They met some lawyer, with far too many mimosas, having brunch that told them they can get some money from this.

                   The same lawyer , sober  now, tells them that they need to be ready to pay extensive legal fees just to have the case considered by a judge and high risk of have the case dismiss after paying all of this money.
