With Ray of Light, she was having her first child. That’s one of the most “grown up” things you can do, I’m sure she felt grown up and mature at the time and it reflected in the music. 
 

cut to 2024, her kids are all mostly grown, she got a boy toy and enjoys opiates! 😆 if she is to feature on something from brat with Charli I feel like that’s actually in keeping with her personal life and mindset at the moment. 
 

of course you’re free to not be into that, but we can’t expect her to all of a sudden become someone else just because that’s how we want to see her.
