I just discovered that the begining of the Houseboat Vocal of Rescue Me - the tape winding noise before Madonna's "hey!" - is actually "Come Into My Life" by Joyce Sims!

Now isn't that fitting?!

That's pretty cool, I use to love that song, such a groove, nice to know how they're connected. I'm guessing that sample wasn't cleared and Madonna probably didn't even know about it 😕
