Yeah, and it's sad. I understand that some people are holding onto something that doesn't seem to be coming anytime soon. But the fact that they took the time (even if it's 30 seconds) to do this in order to convince other people about that idea that “something is coming”, it's such a weirdo behavior. And it's what really bugs me off: how the information can be so easily twisted and shared to match with the altered vision of reality of someone. 
I'm sure that we will get something interesting to look forward in the near future because… it's Madonna! And I know that the lack of new announcements and/or musical projects are getting to the nerves of some fans, but this kind of fake stuff always leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

How long it took someone to badly edit the source code on that page of the website (clock the very obvious alignment issues, amongst everything else)? I'd say less than 30 seconds based on my recreation.

How even if that was somehow a legitimate website post, it wouldn't have been visible on the website given it has a future-dated publish date?
What phone was used to take that dodgy photo (in a strange attempt to make it less obvious that it was a poor source code edit)? That I'm not sure of, but it looks like it was taken on a potato, honestly.
Don't get me wrong, I'd LOVE for some events to be announced in January - who doesn't love having something to look forward to - but sadly everything about this reeks of someone just trying to cause a stir off the back of the speculation that followed Guy O's birthday post for Madonna...

But the lyrics are strangely good. And MV was a homage to how Mary Magdalene was seen by early Christians and Gnostics before that Pope Gregory invented that she was a prostitute only to diminish her at a time the bishops decided only men could be priests.

Finally the song/remixes are officially going on digital and streaming platforms.  I don't know about the rest of you, but this is one of my favorite Madonna songs.  I know a lot of other fans love this song too.  We all were overly excited to hear her sing a few lines from the song on the Celebration Tour.   So in honor of the new digital/streaming release of Causing A Commotion (8/23/24), I'm making another fun poll: what is your favorite mix from the new release?  Give a hearts to this post if you are excited about this release.  Lastly, what are your memories of this song when it was first released or when you first heard it?  Love to hear your stories and thoughts?

He's 18. He's enjoying life. He's only saying; it feels good to fend for himself.  People are blowing it out of proportion.  It's only because he's "Madonna's son" people are making any sort of deal out of this.  All they see is a young man who is privileged.  They aren't seeing he's doing what most kids want to do. Live on their own and earn their own identity.  Of course, his mom isn't going to let him live in poverty.  But I'm sure she respects the fact, he is trying to live a more simple life without much help from her.  Some people just need to mind their own business and let people live.  Stop twisting things into what they are not.
