I prefer the September 2001 test sequence over the final track-list. This sequence was documented on MadonnaTribe and includes ‘You’ll see’ over ‘substitute for love’. Although it won’t satisfy everyone, because so many great songs are omitted and it’s non-chronological, it’s actually a really great playlist and sequence. I do miss ‘Rain’ and ‘Nothing Really Matters’ though.

The European 7'' (Remix Edit A.K.A. Edit of Extended Version)

I enjoyed that so much. Brilliantly put together and a succinct time capsule of the era for anyone who didn't live through it. And as someone who did live through it, and watched all of those interviews in real time as they created endless headlines every day, a real trip down memory lane. However, it's also a bit uncomfortable to watch at times due to the outright abuse she was dealt by the media. But ultimately, I guess it just shows what a strong sense of character she has to have been able to take all of that on and not crumble to pieces, especially knowing the fates of many stars who have not dealt with such pressures so well in recent years.
If I had one minor critique, it's that a little bit more context on how she got to the point of her Sex-capades might have been valuable for those unfamiliar with her career. She didn't just arrive there from nowhere, there was a build up that started with Like A Virgin and on which she expanded her sexual provocateur nature via Open Your Heart, Like A Prayer, Express Yourself, Blond Ambition and Justify My Love.
Bravo to @Blue Jean and all involved. Will watch again...

Opening nights of The Girlie Show (Wembley) and Sticky & Sweet Tour (Cardiff). 
 
Madame X at the Palladium, the night they cut the sound and closed the curtain at the start of “I Rise” because she overran! Her and the dancers came out from behind the curtain and finished the show anyway with the audience singing all the words at the top of their voices. That was a magic moment!

I saw opening night of both Reinvention and Confessions.  Those opening nights are so special because of the energy and because there are no spoilers available!  I also saw one of the few performances of You’ll See on the Drowned World tour which was a very memorable moment for me and she sounded beautiful. 

I was at the July 22 Blond Ambition show (I’m on the left), the one where they used the black and white clip in Truth or Dare. The place was electric with excitement because of the broadcast the night before!

It's been 5 years!
One of the first few projects that I shared in this forum is my remastered version of the "It's That Girl" promo cassette rip shared by @XAnon777/Rebel Hugo. I decided to revisit this project and remaster it again, this time a little better than the last time. The previous remaster was... a choice but this one is better. I decided not to correct the pitch for the songs just to give it an authentic feel of the cassette. I corrected the channel swap, balanced them out then remastered them.
This is just a little "thank you" to all of you for making this forum a home and a safe haven. I admit that whenever I feel down, I just read some topics here, talk to y'all, throw shit at Emily, and download some files. Y'all deserve a little sumn-sumn. <3

Everything can always be better, but so far the digital singles campaign is good, to be honest. We can only complain that there are not more regular releases, but apart from that? We've been treated with rare promo and vinyl mixes when possible and audio quality is perfect or as perfect as it was when they were released - the original audio quality, not fake 2021-2022 loud remastering, like "True Blue 35th".
These are meant to be catalogue releases, personally I don't want new remixes attached to the original ones. We've already got the new "Frozen" remix project and whatever else they want to do in that respect for that.

The only compilation I’m aware of that has it is Madonna’s “It’s That Girl” (1987) Uk promo cassette. I don’t know of any other release (either Madonna or Various Artists) that has it but would be good to hear if anyone knows of another.

Just because you haven’t noticed the errors doesn’t mean they don’t exist. They do. But the point is that quality control is poor. Even the liner notes on celebration gave incorrect writer’s credits. They DID reissue a corrected version of the Celebration CD (I have version 1 and version 2 and they are listed on Discogs) with Cherish and Erotica edits corrected. On Erotica the error version cuts a beat too late after the Arabic chant bridge and on Cherish they edited the lyric to “Cant get away I won’t let… to” rather than “I could never forget to”. Die another day and Hollywood were simply lifted from the American life cd which has incorrect track markers, and clips the intros. As someone else mentions “Music” still isn’t fixed. But if these things aren’t a problem for you, I accept that. But it annoys the hell out of other people, me included. And the messed up intros on the new True Blue digital release is just careless.
