  1. It's not even about if the mix is good (personally i love it) but that its something we already have! Why don't they go back and give us remixes they skipped out on like the full length club mix of human nature instead of just the radio version or even let down your guard? Fix Borderline! DO SOMETHING!
  2. ...then i guess it's all worth it that they're wasting our time feeding us shit that already have and not giving us what we want and need since you know...upscaled artwork πŸ™„πŸ™„πŸ™„
  3. I thought rebel heart and madame x were stupid. I liked the name Hard Candy but some of the songs like Incredible were duds. It's almost like she quickly changed course for the album and it didnt live up to the title which was a cool dichotomy of sweet but tough.
  4. ...lol not the fact that we have the entire tracklist already leaving this release COMPLETELY POINTLESS!? yet poor Dress You Up and Die Another Day have been completely ignored
  5. Never heard Stuart worked on the box set, just that he was working on 5.1 versions AFTER it was canceled when other artists started releasing 5.1 albums. Plus word was always that once AL flopped Warner didnt wanna put money or time into it, nothing having to do with Guy or Caresse getting fired. There was also going to be an American Life Remixed album that never got released.
  6. I had a 90s brit pop summer...ahh so in love with damon and Blur!
  7. I mean even Madame X went to number one....lol
  8. Lol you cannot tell me that that song wouldn't fit completely perfect on MDNA.
  9. Boomclap break the rules and boys are so basic pop but maybe they stood out to whatever anyone else was putting out but really can't get anymore beans on toast than that. Cute tho.
  10. I mean those ARE her origins lol she is pretty boring and I think some of her earlier songs like BoomClap were cute but sound like Gwen Stefani rejects. She's alot like Lady Gaga in that sense where her music is basic but a small portion of gays think they're better than what they are and find others who agree and all of a sudden they think just because they're at meme status that that must mean everyone thinks they're great.
  11. Sorry pookie, you mis-quoted me. I forgive you. Me saying Charli was just pop was not a question or up for debate. Me saying SOPHIE being the first hyperpop artist was
  12. This ultimately is why people watermark their work. This is done by the INSANELY talented @madonnapackaged on instagram. https://www.instagram.com/madonnapackaged?igsh=MWdiYTh1c3I3Z3N2aw==
  13. But she's british! But i guess its hard to party at 16 when all you're eating are beans on toast.
  14. I mean it was Diplo then he brought in SOPHIE who i consider to be the first hyperpop artist, correct me if I'm wrong. Charli was always just pop and this new album i really do not understand the hysteria or uniqueness everyone sees. One of the songs even sounds like a david guetta song. Whats interesting is say for example if Madonna chose to do a hyperpop song or album this moment people would say she's just hopping on the trend when in reality she really brought it to the mainstream 10 years ago. I would even say BloodDiamonds (now BloodPOP) is also hyperpop to an extent. Anyway, glad this is just a rumor.
  15. So....this conversation seems very familiar πŸ€” out of touch perhaps? Either way, cannot stand charlie. It amazes me how BIM was slammed so much and still gets slammed but is pretty much the first mainstream hyperpop song. She should've released that as the first single!
  16. True lol ugh dont fight lol i like the sass from both of you
  17. I mean i don't think that ad is a reference to any particular Marilyn or Madonna shoot but obv Iconic is a callback to the Oscars and i get it, it's about putting her as an icon on a pedestal and her falling off it especially given the context of the song so while I think it's boring i understand it. The V shoot just looks like they ran out of ideas especially Madonna is waaaaay older than Marilyn was so it's sort of been there done that and she got the most out of what she could in the early half of her career. I thought Madame X was ridiculous as well and paint by numbers. It would be interesting if she referenced old hollywood stars that suffered ageism and misogyny in their older years like Joan Crawford, Bette Davis, Ingrid Bergman, Marlene Dietrich etc. Heck, if she wants something weird and 50s get David Lynch to do something with her! Blue Velvet is definitely something she should've referenced for Madame X. I am curious if Brigitte Lin in Chungking Express was an inspiration however....
  18. I dont think this thread was to insult Paula but more of a dig against madonna with all the things youve mentioned being the elephant in the room
  19. Not to mention it looks like an even cheaper version of Iconic and the RH tour book which already felt lazy ten years ago
  20. IMO her best shoot period. I wish we got more outtakes!
  21. Not sure but I've heard that since the movie came out. Of course some rumors are gonna just be flat out untrue.
  22. Haha oh really? I knew you followed me cuz you have the same name and profile pic :P ty!
  23. I think the closest she got to something supernatural was Bedazzled...she was going to play the devil which ended up going to Liz Hurley...also I guess Batman as well? Does that count? Both Cat Woman and Harley Quinn...ohh and she did mention the Matrix as well!
