Her whole videography is a mess and never seems to be treated with the respect it deserves - this upscaling is just a joke but fans in here still see to lap it up mainly because they can’t tell the difference - I would rather Warner’s just leaves it now until they can go back to the original film reels ( if they even exist) it’s not like they can’t afford it or M - 

A dream wish would be a You Can Dance 2 but all her #1 club hits remixed perhaps by Stuart a la Confessions non stop continuous DJ set

I’m talking about casual collectors that not even necessarily fans. They don’t care as much. And there’s a big group of audiophiles that won’t even touch remasters because they only want original mixes. 
I’m not saying there’s no value to these releases, but I think starting off with a reputable album that was never repressed in 15 years could be a great starting point as well 

I hope so! I can't wait that much time to get my hands on new editions of Confessions or Music, this bitch wants unreleased bangers and wants them asap 
For real tho, how do other artists often proceed with these releases? Do we have some comparisons? 

I hope they release alot of modern remixes for Madonna the Album.

Hard Candy was only pressed once on vinyl in 2008 and now a mint copy is worth over $200. The rest of her albums have been repressed several times and the original pressings can be found pretty cheap.
Not everyone will buy TIC or LAP, even if they have extras, if they already have it. More people will buy an album that they don’t own already.

Something like the recent beautiful garbage reissue would be amazing,

Well the great thing is if you don't care, you don't have to buy or stream it. Some of us are interested in that particular era especially since alot of those songs went to become tracks on Confessions and Hard Candy. I'm particularly interested in Devil since the version on Hard Candy wasn't that interesting musically. Seeing how the original version of Voices was so damn good I'm stoked and I'm sure many of us are! You can always wait for the bigger albums to be re-released. 

Well...lets not forget...there were TWO musicals. One was about a woman on her death bed with her life flashing before her eyes which is how we got alot of the Confessions tracks like Hung Up. That was going to be directed by Luc Besson. Then there was going to be Hello Suckers which was about Texas Guinan which is where Devil, Miss You, How High came from.

I would love if they release the Hello Suckers material. The few songs leaked are pretty good. Do we even know how many songs she recorded during the time the project was on track?

If Warner goes on the direction of the latest Prince, Bowie, Depeche Mode reissues, deluxe packages and extra bounty they will hit gold. It's about time Madonna's legacy starts to be treated as it should be.

Well such a record has potential to be more successful than her current releases. 
And most likely it wouldn’t be unfinished songs. For all we know the songs could be final, just needing to be properly mixed.

I find it hard to believe. That’s the first release for the campaign? Doesn’t make sense in a marketing standpoint.
But if true, I’ll be sure to wait outside at midnight to purchase it, that is if that’s still a thing 

Why do people on here keep thinking upscaling to 4K or any kind of upscale will look good ? Do you guys even understand anything about video and high definition- the comments on here are just laughable - these videos will never look true Hd unless Warner has them or goes back and re edits them from the original film reels  which are probably lost anyway or in the same hole as the blond ambition Paris footage - it’s pretty poor management on Ms behalf how all her video work has been archived ?

I've watched him and used to belong to his Patreon when he started his Madonna journey. He was moving and kinda MIA for a bit and I stopped following.

I don't care how expensive it is to remaster Madonna's videos in true HD, or even better in 4k. They need to be done properly, we're talking about Madonna, not some random artist.

Exactly, to say that the issue is 4k tvs is ridiculous. GGW is in 720 and still looks better than these "HD" versions. Im wondering if the "directors original files" comment is even true. Who knows if its just the quickest thing they could find and just went with it. JML isnt terrible but it's really surprising how its obviously not true HD. 

They have to have them, I mean it's Madonna  My theory is that they don't remaster the videos properly because it's way more expensive than these upscales.
