At this point I find the heavy handed photoshop work in her private pix, event pix and professional photo shoots quite embarrassing and pathetic. 
 
The only positive aspect of it all is that it’s so fkn fake that no one would ever consider any of it reality.

Yes, her name is Robyn Marie Young. She's with Demetrius Shipp Jr. who portrays Tupac in the 2017 biopic All Eyez on Me. Apparently, they filmed a scene involving Madonna but it didn't make the final movie. On IMDB her role as Madonna is uncredited, but she still has it on her resume.

But that would imply that that was what she was fighting her entire career for one and that she needed that for validation. The grammys didnt even change the trajectory for her career or her life. Just another blip especially since she hasnt won a major one since then. In the context of today where everyone hates award shows and finds them elitist it makes even less sense to end your life story there.

They do but if that's the case, but with your logic Music would make more sense because not only did she hit #1 everywhere, she also had another baby, got married, moved to the UK, and toured for the first time in nearly a decade. That is definitely more life changing than what fans are trying to make ROL out to be but even then...is that the success Madonna wants to end on? From 20 years ago? Rmemeber, this is her "visual autobiography" so I doubt we're getting some cookie cutter biopic with white text at the end saying "after the huge success of Ray of Light I had alot more hits got married then divorced adopted children from Malawi which I still donate to and had alot of controversy there". Story wise and in regards to how integral it is to Madonna’s life and persona today I don't think she could cut those moments.

Honestly, I don't think their fling isn't notable enough to mention in a biopic about either of their lives. The songs they recorded didn't even make an album. There are so many other men and storylines to include in her life. I feel like if she included Tupac people will say she did it for clout. Then again M likes to ruffle feathers and might include him just because. But if she includes Tupac then what Dennis Rodman? That relationship was highly publicized. Then there was Vanilla Ice (he's also working on his biopic) he is in the Sex book, Tony Ward is in "Justify My Love," and Warren Beatty is in Dick Tracy and Truth or Dare. Do you think she'll include having an affair with JFK Jr?
It makes you wonder how many hookups she'll include in the film. Her sex life can be a movie in itself. We know she has a sex scene with Basquiat in the script. Dan Gilroy has been mentioned. You can't leave out Jellybean, of course Sean Penn, and on her mood board I saw pictures of her ex-boyfriends DJ Mark Kamins and Ken Compton. Will she include Patrick Hernandez?

I can't see her leaving out the kids. And if she includes the kids she most definitely will include Africa, the adoptions, and the Hospital and School she's built. That in itself is gonna be like 1/3 of the movie and probably what she will express as her greatest achievement, IMHO.

I think that it makes more sense then because it definitely makes it full circle. Someone awhile back mentioned it should end with her billboard speech in 2016. I like that idea, or maybe ending with her speech at the GLAAD awards because it does feel like you say as self referential and could tie everything together with a nice big bow. I am beyond excited for this.

That's exactly my point. What sense does the story make if it ends with her turning 40? It's going to be her life story not an era by era recreation of her music. The common thread to her music is empowerment and what better way than to show not only how she empowered herself but also supporting those in need. The grammys mean absolute shit to her, to me, and to most people nowadays much less what people think when they hear the name Madonna.

She's always been the underdog and fought sexism that showing her life in her 50s/60s would be a much better full circle moment especially involving her work in Malawi and her fight against AIDS there along with ageism. Showing her friends dying of AIDS in the 80s/90s then her continuing that is a very personal and a common theme in her music.

She can still have some chart success if she actually plays her cards right. I think that some fans tend to forget that MDNA suffered from almost no promotion and still managed to produce a top ten hit, even though it was a mediocre track compared to Girls Gone Wild. With Warner on her side who will actually be doing real promotion and a proper collaboration, its a possibility. Not that having chart success even matters anymore, she has nothing to prove at this stage in her life. She just needs to solidify her persona and legacy in the public eye before we can start thinking about any new album. The Biopic, the reissues and any potential special events and promotional appearances will be a step in the right direction. I just feel that there was some very mediocre efforts by Interscope to really push what she was doing out there, even Rebel Heart, which suffered from those initial leaks massively has sold over one million copies as of today. Just look at Elton John and his recent hit for example, Madonna also needs to focus on increasing her presence in the streaming world. These days you need Spotify to chart. 

I would assume then that it was a Mirwais track she reworked with Diplo and that Quavo wrote his verse.

People should just enjoy the ride. She's proven herself and and she's having fun at this point in her life and career. She's worked hard and deserves it. Let her have her fun without being negative nancys.
