I still to this day loathe AL album and I squarely blame Mirwais for that with his cheap beep sounds and cut and paste editing - I wish Stuart had done more on it and I’ve never understood why fans defend it so much - even the artwork was horrendous and videos second rate 🥹 only good thing was the RIT ♥️

Was the first clip before or after she got sick? Idk why that clip makes me feel so bad for her. She looks genuinely tired, stressed, and pissed. Glad she was able to get through this tour 

Love the opening of this show it’s so creepy , mysterious and visually stunning - I and Stuart’s mix with that base on the beast within is sublime - I wish we had a better pro shot show than the Lisbon footage but at least we got something in full - of course everyone knows i adore the Bedtime story interlude too - I don’t think M will ever revisit this though and give us the full Paris show ( if it even exists ) guess it will disintegrate like holes of a full BA tour release 🥹😂😜

I think the announcement and preorders going live for LAV40 on her birthday was the last shot here. It would have been a perfect time to market the announcement of the first landmark deluxe set. Sadly, and this is just my opinion, I don’t believe anything of merit is coming now. It’s 12 weeks until the official 40th anniversary of the album. Surely to god, preorders would be out by now. And like some have pointed out, it has been three years since the press release announcing the deal. I am starting to think the only things we will get now are the silver vinyls. 
 
It baffles me that an artist like Madonna who has so many iconic albums, music videos, live performances and tours, has never been celebrated to the degree it should have been. This anniversary of 40 years is MASSIVE. She’s a living legend. An icon. Yet we’ve had nothing! This deal could have milked the fans. Things like The Virgin Tour and Blond Ambition, which are legendary and iconic have not been reissued since their original releases. It’s a crime! I feel like we were promised so much and have received very little in the grand scheme of things. 

I think the reason they used her hits to sell it and kind of promote it as a hits tour is because of the response to Drowned World. I love that tour but a lot of people were disappointed by the setlist and so with the mixed response to American Life they had to make it clear she wasn’t going down that route again.
But it wasn’t technically a GH tour. She did 5 songs from the new album.

Madonna should play Slane again

I would like to have a Blu-ray release for the 20th anniversary of the Re-Invention World Tour. It should include the full tour film along with bonus features such as the iconic backdrop videos that were used during the tour.
The artwork should showcase the iconic headstand that Madonna performed in the opening:

The first tour I followed, I remember thinking the setlist was a fever dream!

I think it's a perfect show, still. Sleek, almost minimal with a great emotion arc and catharsis. Amazing backdrops, I still think her best tied with Confessions Tour (winning on some days for me) and on top of that the collaboration with Stuart price is *chef kiss*.

Too bad we only got IGTTYAS officially, Jonas' footage of it is great, imagine the whole show!

2024 marks TWENTY years since The Re-Invention Tour.  I know many fans loved this tour.  I know I did!  I attended three shows with my very best friend @Voguerista  We had a BLAST!!  I recall one show we were approached by the venue for better seats near the stage.  We jumped at the chance. I still remember how I felt when Madonna was performing "Don't Tell Me" and she was staring and pointing right at me.  Of course, she could have been pointing at anyone in my section, but I still felt like I locked eyes with Madonna.  What a moment to have!  So let's share our favorite moments from this tour and feel free to take the poll I provided here, sharing your favorite segment from the tour.  Feel free to share other fun tidbits of your memories from this tour. 3 long years of this pathetic campaign and NOTHING of worth (forgive me for those who thinks FEL was something). This is the last time I post anything in this topic until anything really happens. I will only come back when we have anything to buy that is really worth it. Another color vinyl, at this point, really looks like a slot machine to me. I still love Madonna, she'll be my forever idol, but, after 3 long years and only pointless releases, this campaign became ridiculous, IMO. PS madonna you were the best of all, if you're reading this forum.

Exactly- TS might aswell just have her own awards shows now and no doubt will clean up at next year Grammys too - it’s just a popularity contest now - which is ironic as when M was her most popular she got fuck all award recognition and her music videos are pieces of art imo
