Getting prepared for the 24th here in dallas! Im hoping for a awsome expirence. This is my last tour so Im pretty hyped for it to be good. Im planning on going to get there by 7:30. I'm gonna tell you about my fourth and final show of this Celebration Tour ❤️ from Europe to SF. I decided to go for a different concert experience: no smartphone in hand and watching from the stands (I was quite low and central). The Celebration Tour might be more enjoyable from the stands, especially since I'm not that tall: other times, I could barely see her even though I was right in front of the stage. Plus, the sound from the stands is way better, I could hear her voice much more clearly. I must say, even without any surprise element, this was the show of the tour I enjoyed the most.
This tour is an absolute blast, a whirlwind of nostalgia and fresh energy combined! It's like stepping into a vibrant collage of Madonna's most iconic moments, reimagined for today. And there's a story in it. A testament to her enduring legacy and a reminder of why she's been the best popstar for decades ☺️

I'm glad I got to say goodbye to this tour in such a way. The whole experience has been incredible, being here in SF feels magical to me. I'm head over heels in love with this city. And it's amazing that I'm in such a place, on the other side of the world, watching Madonna again, right here.
The show's flaws are the same as always, I don't like the lack of a live band, I still don't like the final part, her voice isn't in the best shape, she obviously butchered Take A Bow, as I expected 😅 I noticed that the audience was more in tune than she was during that song, drowning her out 😂 But who cares, I'm still happy, and I expected it, so no big deal.
No, her voice during the BAT wasn't worse at all. It was a thousand times better than it is now. She simply used to sing solo a lot more. Yes, there were Niki and Donna, but when they weren't backing her up, she was on her own. Here, she's hardly ever alone; she almost always has heavy backing vocals, especially in the choruses. Maybe it's like this now because she's somewhat disconnected from music and has shifted her focus to the performance aspect, especially now that technology can lend a hand. Maybe it also has to do with her singing alongside a guy who talks over her. I don't know, but it's all good. I'm really happy! I'm fully aware of all of Madonna's flaws. I critique her sometimes, acknowledge the shortcomings, and think she should work on them, but I love her just the way she is, accepting that she's not "perfect".
Sometimes we're worn out by the time we hit 40 and struggle to take care of ourselves, let alone at 65. And sure, at 65 she might have neglected a few things, but she's still incredibly strong 💪

I don't consider it one of her best tours, but it's still wonderful. She's happy, energetic, and relaxed, kind of like at the RHT. And I like seeing Madonna like this!
Oh, and she sang Old Town Road before Burning Up 😄

Sorry to say and i know i'm gonna get tons of shit for saying it but the choreo for Holiday really sucks. The moved looks silly and absolutely not funky. And that long jacket makes no sense either for a funky song like that. The moment she arrives on stage with the bustier and the song kicks in it looks fabulous, then she puts that long jacket on her and it's like meh... Then the silly moves comes in and it's a pure waste of what coul be an amazing performance. Into the groove could look way more funky too. All in all the undergound early 80's club segment could be way better imo. They look more kids at school show to me. The costumes doesn't have the early 80's downtown scene feel at all neither to me.  I mean you have Madonna, dancers, all the lightennings and costumes you want and you have to re-create the downtown scene from the early 80's and this all you can come up with ? I know for sure there are tons of people, even on this very forum who would have been way more creative than that. 
 
 
 

She is going to be beaten without a doubt, because Madonna is near the end of her touring career and the rest of them aren’t.  It says something that someone whose peak of fame was 35-40 years ago can compete with the biggest stars of today. Name another from the 1980s who comes even close.

Yes it’s totally weird… no band no proper backdrops… no tourbook… her dancers except 2 or 3 are not so pro as the previous tours… even the intro which suppose to be a MASSIVE opening to her 40 years celebration is nothing compared to her previous tours. As I said previously it feels like unfinished work!

Okay, but this could very well be the last time she ever tours and is meant to be a comprehensive career retrospective…so sorry that some of us are objective and can see parts of the show clearly aren’t landing well with the general audience and would like to see her end her touring career with a crowning gem of a show?
No one is saying we aren’t grateful she’s doing a show, but I hate this weak defense suggesting her being well and alive and her delivering a banger greatest hits tour with a flawless narrative is somehow mutually exclusive. Not at all…she can do both.
I hated seeing confused faces after the lights went up. I hated hearing people on the tube say they didn’t like it. I hated hearing my dad say he’d been waiting to see M for years but would only give it a 7 out of 10 and that he thought the pacing got really strange in the middle of the show.
I know it’s only personal anecdotal evidence, but she could make the show much better with what already exists…it’s not like many of us are saying the song choices or production suck, just that some of the execution is off.
Which, as an aside, made me finally realize what has been frustrating as a fan for the last decade or so…she consistently has AMAZING ideas, tour included…but it’s like she can’t quite get there with execution of them. She comes across half committed to them nowadays. Madame X and her personas and the many clips filmed, the Madame X Tour, this tour, the Rebel Heart album and tour…Madonna the amazing artist continues to be live and well, but it feels like the creative direction is lacking in parts. That’s where my personal frustration with this tour arises from…it’s just that it’s so obvious how incredible this show could be but it just doesn’t quite get there in the end, and she deserves better if this is it.

I love the show personally because it includes lots and lots of things I have had on my wish list. However, I totally see why people criticise certain aspects of the show and I agree with almost everything you said DESPITE loving the tour.
But looking back, I think there is not a single tour that I would consider PERFECT. That’s a standard that, imo is almost impossible to reach. There will always be something that can be improved. Is it a bad thing to feel that way? No absolutely not. It’s not like we’re going to M herself telling her how crappy her show is.
People just don’t like to have their euphoria and obsession interrupted with more critical thoughts and reality checks.
