If you've downloaded the stems/multitracks for Holiday, you probably noticed that they're actually from Shep Pettibone/Goh Hotoda mix (a.k.a. the Q-Sound mix). You probably also noticed that they're similar in length to the album version. So I've used them to make this new mix which imagines what the Q-Sound mix would have sounded like had it not been edited down to 4 minutes.
 
I've tried to be as true to the original Q-Sound mix here as possible. The exceptions being that it's not mixed in actual Q-Sound, since I don't have (or want) the technology to do so. Also, I've increased the tempo to 118 bpm, as the Q-Sound mix did, but without altering the pitch. (Back then I think they just increased the tape speed, whereas these days we would beatmap.)
 
Any and all constructive criticism and feedback is appreciated and welcome. I'm an amateur mixer, of course, and would like to get better and better at this.

Reissue? People still believe in album reissues? 

We know she was pissed off when Warner put American Pie into Music. Some people say it fits album, but to me it's unrespectful to change one's artist vision. American Pie shouldn't be present on that record.

I don't believe it has anything to do with her failing marriage.  I think the real association is that it's the same title of a poorly received film.  It's too bad though because I think most die hard fans still adore the film, even though we all pretty much agree it was ridiculously over the top and not a great film. Still, I love the movie and Niki Finn is one of my favorite movie characters from her.

I suspect that’s just her recording dialogue for that bank/rio commercial . Cos I can’t see why she’d dress in the same outfit to record music. Maybe the surprise is some BTS reel or something?
EDIT: However, it looks like sheet music she is holding….

You can rip it from the Celebration DVD. DVD audio is higher quality than CD audio anyway (48 kHz vs. 44.1 kHz), if that makes you feel any better.

We need a FEL sequel of all her number 2 dance songs.

Angel, Causing a Commotion and Spotlight should be in the FEL tracklist instead Everybody, Physical Attraction and (urghhh) Me Against the Music. 
 

You always repeat the multitracks thing, but "remastering" doesn't necessarily mean going back to the multitracks, even though that can be obviously the best way to do it (it can completely change the original sound too, so you can never win, I know albums remastered from the multitracks that are a good job but change a lot from the originals, different backing vocals, etc. It can be messy or just different).
Technically, remastering is: to make a new master (= a recording from which all copies are made) of an earlier recording, usually in order to produce copies with better sound quality

So anything you do to enhance the old recording, even if it's just boosting the volume, can be considered remastering, whether you - or we - like it or not.

I suppose the 7" Version of Holiday is the same case. Then again…if that was how it was intended, why did it not appear that way on any release? 😅

@Bjonkers I think you and the guy who made that list confused Everybody and Holiday. I just compared the version of Everybody on Spotify with the actual 7" Edit and they are the same (except for the different master). The length and the fade are also the same. The 7" Edit can be perfectly reconstructed because it uses the fade out from the 12" Version and all the edit points are in the middle of the song. Therefore, your theory is definitely incorrect.
Holiday (from FEL) however appears to match your theory.
